Big Red Bosses are worthless now.

Let's face the facts here. Stonevale mobs are too hard, thus less of a reason for people to train there. Now, most people who train in Stonevale are typically around 50 through 80. Big Red Bosses (Rockbelly, Spearhorn etc) are mainly designed for the 80+ crowd. Players can get into the Otherworld at around level 80, 85, so once they start training there, there's no reason for them to go back. Then we have all the new Crystal armor, better and much cheaper than Meteoric (Diamond Breastplate is 100k, I spent well over 700k on my Astral breastplate). As soon as they realize that, there's not much point going for spaces anymore is there? This is why I think the Red bosses will be kinda useless for a while. On Epona, all the same red bosses or their placeholders have been left alone for a few days now, totally different than what it used to be. I'm not sure how to fix this, although I hope the dev team comes up with a good solution, since I'm sure this is not what it's supposed to be.

The red bosses will be back on track soon enough. Meteoric armor is a pre-requisite for future upgrades that are much better than the crystal armor. There is a whole lot of new content to explore and killing the same old red bosses are no longer as "exciting" as they used to be. :D People will come back and start killing those guys again, or you can now level up (once they fix a few things) and kill those guys yourself without the 90+ crowd KSing you.

Your problem is actually a good thing.

I brought up the potential for this problem in my post "Rebuttal of lack of high level zones". My fear was that as all the high levels are in heir own zone they wouldn't be bothered to visit the low level zones and kill bosses anymore. This happened in Everquest and it was the beginning of the end of that excitement of playing in my opinion if the bosses are just ignored by high levels.

its not essential to the people capable of killing red bosses they already have their drops. in addition to how tuff they have become. we tried red druid again since some still don't have all their meteoric . he was harder than the kelpie boss in the other world. we will not go back to that pot idol waste till they r fixed. other world mobs seem about right.
maybe after some people get their passive abilitys up and level some the few will come back and work with all those waiting at the farm.

The people that spend their time in the Otherworld now are a very small percentage of the total players in the game.

I'm fine with the new content being really hard, I think its great and something the game need. On the other hand I don't like that the old content is so much harder. I don't see how new players will be able to get through this game now without being very frustrated.

my tank can fight well in other-worlds at lvl 86
but i wont to get my ranger up to other-worlds but am stuck in sv at lvl 75 dieing all the time due to the druids healing or other mobs taking me out.

but to go back on topic
i think the red-bosses will be killed more once people have finished exploring O.W, atm i an focusing on all the quests in lairs and O.w but i will be going back to red-bosses soon due to i an not spending all my RL money to get diamond armor wen i can kill a red boss and get armor that is nearly as good as Diamond,

Not only that but once you get free meteoric, you get free diamond
