I'm sorry OTM but what you did was slap Fingal server in the face with this. After finally not having a 6* snorri and sreng spawn in who knows how long, one spawned and you reset to give us a 4* all for worthless pots.

This was completely counter productive and an item no one wants and mocks. So, essentially, you gave us 2 things that we didn't want. I wish you guys and gals would have taken the players best interest into account before making these decisions.

They do take the player's best interests into account. The daily gifts idea is a change-of-pace thing. A bit of varietey, and a potential means of coaxing some inactive players into logging in, which could lead to them becoming active again.

Most of the items people will get won't be very valuable maybe, but everyone gets a free chance to get something good.

Also, end-game players largely like the resets because they get a chance to kill all the major bosses again.

All that to say, I believe everything OTM does is in consideration of all the players, not just end-game players or specific players on a specific world that get upset for missing out on a snorri kill.

How is giving potions going to coax an inactive player into becoming active? I could agree on the change of pace except everytime they do these X amount of free gift dats it turns into a big haha amongst the players and there have been numerous threads complaining about these supposedly free gifts. Occasionally you get the random one person that gets something decent.

On the main server I play on and 2 others I visited, we have an earlier chance of hrung but all the dl bosses were phs in place of what were 6* we didn't get a chance to grab because they did 2 resets almost back to back.

If this is showing the players interest in mind, they have a funny way of showing it.
