Distract

Distract still isnt working. It might just be me cause I know it was fixed in a patch. I still cant drop aggro. On mobs and bosses i am just a magnet and cant get rid of them. Its very hard to dps when you keep dying. Maybe my stats/points are wrong but it doesnt work the way it did before. Just lettin you know. Thanks for all the hard work!

Can anyone explain what raising the skill level of this does?

How much dex does it take before it is successful on the easiest mobs?

Does mob level even matter?

Why does it say it is successful, when the critter keeps attacking you?

Maybe it isn't broken, just hard to Get the right combination? It is way too expensive to do new boss fights when the tank can't taunt, the rogues can't pass agro around, and healers can't keep up with who is going to die next.

Basically for each damage point you do it adds agro.

The calm/taunt/distract skills work like negative damage, so they take away agro.

So by making them more powerful we can have them taking away more agro.

While you are describing agro how do Mage lures contribute. I would sware that mages have a new skill, taunt, always on.

Correct me if im wrong but i think distract isnt based off of any stats so it should be as useful as the amount of skill points. It says mental skill and doesnt list a stat.

Ah. So if we are runnin around with no dex it wont matter how many skill points you put in it. Thats rough! I have 10 dex and puttin lots of points into dex just to have distract work would be sad. Another build challenge though.

IMO, calm, distract and taunt/warcry shouldn't be affected by stat points i.e vit and dex and focus in calm's case.
