You are a noob if you think explosive arrow is a bad skill

Most ranger skills are bad, if they werent, we wont have tons of ranger skill items rotting in the bank.
Perhaps your clan is full of rangers wearing explosive arrow helms, ours doesnt so my perspective is skewed on how useful they are. The only times ive seen these helms used is for AoE grinding with a tank, other than that, cant really consider it an end game item, but hey im a noob when it comes to ranger as I dont play one, what do I know?

Ohh just because your rangers don't wouldnt use a godly explosive arrow helmet must mean it's awful... Only items you use are good

Yes actually. With the amount of items, time, and organization Avalon has put in I'm sure they have used a lot of these items to determine whether or not they are useful. I'm certain a level 185 ranger in full beastbone would love a godly explosive arrow helmet, a 220 full edl ranger with a mordy helm would not.

Have yet to see 185 rangers, even in full beastbone, carry explosive arrow as one of their regular skills. I bet theyd put points in Light Heal or Camo before Explosive Arrow.

Can any high level rangers actually say that they would use a Godly Explosive Arrow helms as their normal helm over Frozen, DL or Mordris helm? Really doubt it's just Avalon rangers who wouldnt.

And again... No godly drops from the 200 lirs dragon, just 1-3 godly rings, 1-3 godly bracelets but no godly charms.
Kinda sucks since there is all these druids who want a godly touch charm and all these mages who need godly bolt and shards.

I use a explosive arrow helm and love using it over dl. If I had a mord helm i would probably use that instead but i use a +7 helm over a +9 longshot one. I also have a mordris brace for arrow as well. It's awesome for aoe grinding and farming. All i need to do is fire a single shot to clear rooms for farming and the cd is pretty fast also. For fighting two or more mobs it's the best skill damage wise by far.

im no ranger but i thought explosive arrow sucked. especially compared to a long shot helm

because you could use that money on chests/combos

bounty tokens seems better imo. 1-2k per bounty and i get 640 tokens during dbl plat with a $50 purchase. along with getting some exp and the chance for bounty bags

overall it seems better and something new to try. thats 640-1.3m with 1-2k per drop and also ill get like 15-25 lvls with it. plus bounty bags :p

It all depends on what you do. I rarely attack just one mob at a time so the dps is hard to beat. For farming, doubly so on lower level mobs, the dps is several times more not a little better. On my world many bosses are bola so longshot gets the mele group killed and defeats the purpose of bola.

If you don't have explosive arrow gear, have less than maybe 1000 energy sigils (i have 1700) and never farm lower level mobs nor aoe train (typically with a group) then yes explosive arrow wouldn't be for you. I find it to be one of the better ranger skills.

We have a godly explosive helm and it ROCKS for training when i Pull 15 mobs together. Obviously our rangers won't use it on a raid boss or anything geeze i never said that!! I Said it's a good Helmet and it is because it is an EXCELLENT leveling tool if you use it in a Pro way

And yeaaaa.. Only items avalon equips are useful I know, everything else such as explosive arrow helms and braces just suck badly

I don't really consider it "PRO", using your vernacular. It's an energy sink and useless for one mob only and is dependent on having a warrior with warcry, as using it solo on multiple mobs is suicide.
