I think you're forgetting recast speed. You can recast qs way before wyld is ready again.

But as an individual skill? Maybe

I hate dueling players that want to use dmg skills from their jewelry. Use your skills not your jewelry

Half of the lower levels who are loaded up on lux duel because their lux pulls them through, but would get destroyed without it...So they think they're good even though they have 10 little plus symbols above their name, not to mention the skills used.

Would like to see all lux other than Cromnak and Skain sets and the like, to be null during a PVP battle, so you have to depend on your player skill...Maybe energy regen lux could be permitted tho

personally i feel utilizing every item/skill/regen/build/stats to the right balance is part of the talent that creates a good pvp player, sounds like you just got whooped by some op low lvls with good lux but non the less it can get quite expensive so i see your point in making it just raw skill and builds

Not really haha, just that when I see lower levels arguing with one another over their duels and wasting an alt or rebirth book just to reduel it gets silly.

And yea, definitely gets expensive when they spend their real life money (or their parents money ) But then again, they ARE paying for that gear and deserve to be able to use it. So even if I don't like the use of op skills in PVP it would be unfair to take away those from the player haha.

I think if Invincible rank is what people are after they should duel when they're a level 5-10, because alot of new players have no clue what is going on and it's easy xp

I think it's like entering a fight and you get killed by a guy with a gun. You could prob purchase the right combination of mounts and jewelry to win in pvp and possibly never cast more than 1 or 2 skills. Somehow that just doesn't seem like proper dueling

Or a duel in the Wild West where one dude pulls a pistol and the other is the guy from Cowboys and Aliens.

Duels have always been defined by even equipment (swords, Pistols, etc.) and the duelist's skill determined the winner, not if he had a sharper sword or a rifle lol

The case here is the damage percentage not the speed.
It is still unfair considering wyldshrine doesnt take a part of your skill points

On my Druid I used to use the freeze skill from the old lux storm skimmer. And people said the same thing, it's pvp, it's no holds barred, using jewelry and weapon skills is smart gameplay, using your assets to full affect. If you don't like it, don't duel anyone with a wyld Ammy.

I'm fine with certain items being more appealing for pvp and bossing.
