Quite the discussion here! Before this gets locked down, I do want to say thank you for all the grats. I may be wearing the set, but it belongs to Avalon and all of the hard work and camping that went into making it.

The wealth of richest 1% equal to the wealth of the other 99% of the planet. That is a staggering statistic. Basically, the top 1% have enough wealth to feed, house and educate the lowest 50% of the people on this planet and they would not even really feel it.

There is more than enough money for Socialism to work and succeed. If that 1% paid taxes equally as everyone else (tax the money, not the person) we could afford a great many things.

And the world is not going to sh*t. Period.

In a country where you have to choose between two candidates for president like Trump or Clinton you have to take a long look at the system that has put those two in place. I'm not American, but I would throw the two of them under the bus and choose Bernie in a heartbeat. Unicorns and rainbows beat fear mongering and a lying crook any day.

I'm an American (with a keyboard set to British English oh boy) and I just wanted to say a few things regarding the racist, biased, and downright disrespectful things said in this Topic.

- America is going to unfathomable due to a long string of bad decisions made by the government and also the citizens reactions to these things. In my opinion Obama did screw up the Country more than it was and he did HORRIBLE. Obama was voted because he was Black. Period. He is Black and he can speak very well- But he was no leader at all.
Now for the current elections there are a group of complete and total IDIOTS all running for President.
People will vote for Hillary because she's a WOMAN. Nevermind that she murdered her own countrymen and is a lying, coniving *** who would throw her own daughter under a bus to become President.
Bernie is an idiot.
Cruz is an idiot.
Trump is an idiot but the best out of the others because he isn't afraid to DO something. He can spew his racist garbage all day, but he can't just build a wall blocking off Mexico- there is such a thing as Checks and Balances people.

Nothing against any of you personally but stay away from Politics and Religion with people. Applies to Forums and in Real Life especially.

These are my opinions. I moved out of America because my dad retired a few years back. I'm seeing it from the inside and the outside. Best not to compare one country to another country unless you've been a citizen of both, otherwise you look like an ignorant fool.

Respect where people come from, their Religion, their race, whatever.

Sure and that's why I excused myself in advance by saying that I was sorry. I was not trying at all to put words in your mouth.

The point I was trying to make is well known: people apply to games different rules than the ones they expect to hold in real life. For example, only a few think that it is socially acceptable to administer their own justice irl, but feel entitled to do so in a game. Or many feel that social inequality and major differences in wealth are unfair and to be eradicated irl, but they love the law of the jungle in virtual reality. In practice this draws several players out of the game, but probably keeps playing many others that enjoy behaviours they could not have irl.

(again please don't read this as applied to Anexander, I just hijacked his post because it had the perfect phrasing)

And btw, kudos to anexander for his great website
