Re: How does OTM decide what game changes are a priority

Would be great to see every week (or 2 weeks) what OTM is working on. This way we would see what OTM is doing all day and not what will come "soon" which is in other words "never or in 5 years".

It doesnt need to be a 500 words paper, can be written in a few minutes. It also doesnt need to be too detailed, just enough so the players know OTM is actually doing something useful.
Something like this? http://celtic-heroes.com/forum/viewtopi ... =3&t=72533
Yes, although I can imagine writing that would take some time.

Something like:
"This week the team will work on the following things:
- Current event boss' drops
- Mage/Druid DL/EDL Offhand
- Next event
- Crafting"

Would also be enough.
Perkamentus, lv 230 Full Doch Gul Ice Mage
Avanor, lv 220 Rogue
Silvos, lv 191 Ranger

Retired Chieftain now Clansman of Pegasus, Lugh.

I'm appalled at the fact that OTM has prioritized Heroes Landing over class balance. Why would someone create an entire new area that a player will spend 60 seconds in when skills like rescue exist. Rescue is simply one of many examples of the awful skills in the game that either need to be removed or buffed massively. The problem of druid leveling, dex rangers, and energy problems still exist. PvP is still broken as ever.

I'm not bashing on OTM but I think you guys need to direct your attention to more important things rather than updating the graphics. The new areas look great but I believe in the Gameplay > Graphics philosophy. Bounties and pets were a step forward in permanent content but I have yet to receive a pet token after playing daily since the last update, and bounties didn't make leveling much easier, given how broken the leveling system is (IMO). Yet another thing that might be looked at. Grinding on lixes isn't exactly my idea of fun, which is why I think update 2 was perfect in that regard. Rescaling the leveling system completely seems out of the question, as much as I think many of us would appreciate it, but adding some SIGNIFICANT xp quests would be great.

Probably because too many players were quitting in the first 60 seconds of gameplay. The game used to have a much larger and healthier influx of new players. These days, due to competition with other games I suppose, there are far fewer new players, most of the new players actually seem to be alts/returning players of one flavor or another.

Not that many things don't need fixing as you point out, but without a new susraining player base the game will eventually die out.

The animations are backwards since the last update.. In combat/out of combat animations should show when sigils are working or not, but now when a Mage or Druid attacks it looks to everyone else like they are just standing there out of combat, when you cast a skill it shows you're in combat mode when you aren't, and combat stance lasts way too long.. What logic was there to any of these changes

If I want to sigil when training or killing a boss I have to count to 5 to know when my sigils will start working and when I can buff myself again.. Can't you make combat animation last 5 seconds after combat like it used to? Counting every Time is just annoying

Art Team worked on the majority of Heroes Landing, not Design.

Xp Curve is being worked on and changes are hopefully going to be implemented in future updates.

So lets piss off the current playerbase! They expect new players without advertising. They expect a happy player base with contoversial changes, while pressing matters get ignored.
