I actually would like to see a completely random respawn time on all bosses and minions. I believe this would break the strangle hold that some of the more selfish clans hold. It would be quite interesting watching these greed mongers trying to spread themselves if every boss spawned at once...

I believe every server is afflicted with this problem. In many cases, it promotes extortion and undue market inflation as these very same clan sell the drops at exordinate prices.

Lol, randomize every boss and their minions and you'll get nothing but more "I hate camping" complaints. The dominant clan will always find a way to monopolize a boss no matter what otm does to try and stop it. On lugh alone people outside of the dominant clan don't even put effort into killing dl+ simply because all the bosses worth killing are monopolized, it honestly sucks and only results in more and more people going inactive. Yea otm can make it easier to gain frozen, dl, edl, DG or whatever you're trying to get, but it wouldn't be fun at all seeing everyone wearing the exact same armor or using the exact same weapons. Otm needs to create a much larger variety of armor and weapons along with the ability to craft such armor and weapons. Also more raids that have more loot to offer and have their own unique benefits

So whats the point of clans then? Anyway, as I said, spawn the minions randomly elsewhere.
The point of clans is that u can get a good group of ppl to fight and win locks and kill those bosses... that's the only beauty abt this game, you can only go so far solo n using ur moms credit apple as per that other player...
at endgame you can have gear nearly as good as the raid drops from shop but those are not enuf
Says the clan that does the exact same as described by OP on Donn.

The point being not everyone has the time for raids, gold bought armour exists for more casual players, it's not as good as raid but that's fine.

I totally agree with OP, as it stands, it's nearly impossible for anyone not in the 24/7 lock clans to level past 180ish, due to the tower quest. Where is the problem with giving a rare drop or non-frozen kill to complete quest?

It took me weeks of frustration to finish the quest. I spend hundreds on buying plat as I enjoy this game, why stop me at 180 and lose many more hundreds/thousands of my dollars for something so trivial?
On frozen? No, dl n edl yes
24/7 players our clan doesn't have that many, we get what we can, don't cry abt what we lose.
Also when posting on forums I try to be as neutral as possible to help other. If you wanna bash me on what my clan does, do it right.

You can get very far going solo. Just need to rely on 3 key factors; source of gold, regular market, and the black market
As I said u can get nearly as good as the raid drops but that's just not enough.... the black market isn't as reliable all the time and requires luck to get what u want, the chances of that happening is lower than a godly drop rate... also not always u can afford it

Being able to customize or craft armor would be quite interesting if done right. Having 3 customizable slots on every single item (including fashion) would keep the items database manageable while offering enough flexibility that the total items of a player would really add a large amount of diversity. Having Regen fashion would be awesome.

The way to do this is not random spawn times, as that would make it hard on everyone including the under dog people. Just make every boss spawn at the same time. Say if it's been down at least half an hour make them spawn every hour and a half exactly on the :00 and :30. Then people could move around and try to ditch others but ultimately once someone started a boss people would flock and lock the next one.

Of course the more alts you can control simeltaneously the more advantage you would have but that's true now also.

On my server, Fingal, we have one huge clan, full of arrogant, selfish persons, who totally dominate in particular, Regulus quest nodes. I and others -cannot get past Swamplord as when this boss or a Minion are about to respawn, they are there in huge numbers. I can understand not wanting to share Swamplord itself, but if a Minion appears, they kill that too. Would it be too difficult to increase the respawn rate of Swamplord and others Minions and also make them respawn away from where the main boss spawns? I spoke to one of these charming people and his response was to use my mom's credit apple lol, buy maybe that is the bottom line to this game, make us poor slobs use our own money to progress. I don't expect any help, just more trolling and deletion of this post as has happened before.
I'm not sure which clan you're referring to and yes the credit apple comment was rude, but an entire clan shouldn't be labeled in a negative way because of a few players. There's no clan on any server that doesn't have a jerk or two.

It's not uncommon to find clans that do not group with other clans for bosses. This is because they have had bad experiences with grouping other clans or its because the clan needs the drops from these bosses for their clan mates. I know OW is crazy on fingal with several clans lock battling every spawn.

I've only been playing for a lil over a month and i can tell you the clan he speaks of. In general maybe you shouldn't label the whole but in this case they really are a big bunch of d$@#&.

Of course the more alts you can control simultaneouslythe more advantage you would have but that's true now also.
Havn't read the whole post but there is a limit to this. I was in a clan that largely used dual and tri loggers to boss (only had 5ish people yet we could take hrung with ease). Dual logging could help a lot at locking (dual logged a level 180 mage and 185 rogue), but my attention was split to the point where I would have to spam skills on rogue and then go to mage device while sneaky was casting. Multilogging for lock can be effective but nonmultilogging should win over multi loggers.

Not the only point of a clan. For bossing sure. But I joined resurgence not only for gear. Joined because of the community and family of the clan itself. You should never just join a clan because they win the majority of locks and can gear you easily. If you put in time and work into a clan it can easily become major competition to the "top tier" clan. This actually happened on arawn for a bit where a group of newer clans worked together and were able to kill hrung, a mord, and get numerous dl sets. as far as camping goes i enjoy camping and a good lock fight. makes the game less a game of chance and more a game of skill.

If you aren't happy with camping clans there are worlds that this set up doesn't happen on, for example epona.
