Muldar any news on when the next battle mount might come out and if it'll be more caster friendly? I'm sitting on 128 mount tokens and don't want to use them as it feels like as soon as you max one out something better comes along

Use Focus/Vit and Dex/Vit and you won't go wrong.

Can you expand on this? Most battle mounts are 2 stats and a skill...actually all are i think. What would need to be tested?

Design: What model we are using, what stats, integrating whatever is chosen into the Battle Mount system etc

Then there is all the additional art work including animations.

Making horse battle mounts would make the original horses' value and uniqueness go down, so no.
But stags and lions sound nice and I'd also like a chicken pet, thanks!

These are pets but battlemounts are so similar to pets that these are worth taking a look at.
