Scamming

So I know name shaming is against the rules but I’m done. Me and two of my clannies got scammed by notorious scammers on herne. They made toons with our names and asked each other for our stuff. So three plat buyers are done with this game. If otm would like to do somethingg feel free and we might come back. They scammed all our mounts.

Hi Muldar

Please take it into consideration. This guy has scammed a lot of person in Herne. But this time Lorhad got proves that he scammed. He will send you photos. The scammer basically made a toon named very similar to his clannies.

Check all chats and trades please. If you ban that guy all Herne would be so Happy. They have scammed hundreds of people. Mostly the new beginners they don't know about him. I know some people quit the game just because of they got scammed by that person.

medal and need and their dozens of alts add nothing but grief and take fun away from most everyone playing Celtic heroes herne server. I started Celtic a year ago with a large group of players when Star Wars uprising shut down. The constant griefing, impersonations, and spoofing done by these two have caused several to quit and has me questioning whether to continue supporting Celtic with my real world dollars or to seek out a different iOS game. I strongly urge OTM to consider banning these toons and their associated email accounts.

Start perma banning by i.p. adresses and not single toons please. This is a world wide scam not just on Herne and still going on years later.

At the end of the day it’s a game. It sucks and there was RL$ involved, they scammed me successfully. I’m more upset that this has ultimately made me lose desire to waste my precious free time in a game where kids like that, continue scamming players, threatening players and clans, and being abusive, OTM does nothing. Apparently none of those things qualify as violating your ToS.
I came from a game that was shutting down because of mismanagement, poor customer service and a lack of new content. Maybe you’ve heard of kabam, one thing they did do right was block toons when they violate the ToS. That’s the only lesson I’d say to take from that horrid game company.

Thanks for reporting.

Myself and the Support Team have investigated the issue further and taken appropriate action.

While we do have an "all trades are final policy" players creating masses of similarly named characters to established players in an effort to scam will be subject to the disciplinary procedure.

In future I do however advise PMing me directly regarding issues such as these as the naming and shaming rule is still enforced on the forum.

THats great and all but I think the people of herne would like to know what the “appropriate actions” are. Are they perma banned? Are we getting our stuff back? If the answer to both of these questions is no you lost 3 big plat buyers. Sorry otm. I love your game and the community around it but if all they got was a week ban while I paid real life money to get plat to save up for some very cool mounts. Then I’m done. Also here’s an example of what they did. My toon name is Lorhad Owens. It pisses me off that my good and respected name was dragged through the dirt.
