Re: Ability Lixs while Cooking

They worked for me... when used with exp lix there’s going to be a larger gap between ability and level. Mastery will be even farther behind.

It’s not like normal leveling where you’re autoing/casting multiple spells per 15min lix which keeps ability up a lot higher and gains are more visible.

I started using xp/wisdom lix at level one cooking and would gain a level every few cooks... that’s 10 ability points per level up, no way can ability keep up at that rate. I’m 161 cooking with like 600 or so ability. Without wisdom lix I’d be like 3-400 ability. It just can’t keep up is all. You’ll have to go back and spam cook a bunch of low level items to raise mastery/ability.

Please update the ability lixs, the cooking abilities are taking so much time to max .-. I used Ability lix and it sadly didn't work. Would help a lot when you make them useful while cooking.

I thought the same thing, the first few days I dabbled in cooking, but i figured it out. It's funny how someone with cooking level at 160+ has a mastery of only 40. They actually didn't believe me when I told them how to level mastery since I am only at 80 level, but I like to max the ability as I level so I can make lvl2 and lvl3 exquisite and perfected as I level.

All u do is make low level foods, I had tons of herring from fishing so I did that, you get zero xp but mastery shoots up. I wouldn't use a lix until u get to at least the hundreds. Making bread and or herring pies should give you around 30-40 mastery points per lix. But proficiency is slow with medium green food, (u can use extract to make it easy green but leveling mastery it's always the base hardness despite what the extract says). To level proficiency make harder low level foods. Like Rudd pies, again using extract doesn't mean it's actually easy it still uses base hardness. So making harder low level foods will make proficiency shoot up but mastery slow. Mix it up to levelthem about the same...super easy and I don't spend much time in the tavern at all. I just do about 100 mastery a day to keep up with my level. Maybe about 30 minutes.....took me all but ten minutes of experimenting to figure it out...people think u need to make hard food to level mastery and most of them have spent millions and not gotten as high as I have. As soon as I level fishing more I should shoot to the top of the cooking leaderboards pretty fast lol.
