Every server has drama, it's also easily avoided. You should ask 'which has the lowest griefing'. Might be better! Personally it's best to stay out of the politics

If we’re going by griefing more than drama (lets be honest, if there were a server with exactly 2 people there’d still be drama ), Lugh has virtually no major griefing (to my knowledge, because I know there’s cases somewhere to prove me wrong).
As to drama/politics, yes, Lugh has a good amount of drama (part of which seems to be a shuffling of major clans (rip Alli ) that is still settling), but Lugh has an environment that you can build upon and find likeminded/motivated people to accomplish what you want in this game, which is the whole point, isn’t it?

All the arawn drama is by people who were kicked from res and Xfered away or people who don’t play the game but log onto forums just to start stuff.
Point to any drama between 2 active arawn players and I’ll agree your right... but there just isn’t any.

Crom or any of those servers are not laid back. Crom is a horrible server ran by Seed. Sacred, the only other major clan, is a dead clan that can't compete with Seed and never will. So if you want to be a slave to a dominant clan and grind for clairvoyant endgame content then be my guest. There are the others and I can not speak much of them as I have never played there. Judging from what I know about dominant clans, they are most likely doing the same as Seed on Crom. All those servers true fully get boring and you'll probably get annoyed with all their rules. The only other server that is truly free is Epona. There is a free market so you can buy or sell whatever you want. Endgame content is achievable without being in a top clan and kissing up to the leader for months or even years. You are not forced to attend bosses and camp as you can do what you want, its a free server after all!. You can also win boss drops by attending them and rolling. The whole rolling system is great in my opinion. A lot of people from other servers say it is "unfair" and "stupid" but it is not. When I attended bosses religiously for 2 weeks and I earned 800k gold by rolling and winning! A friend on the server has won 4m+ is a few weeks! Yes, there is a bit of luck involved, but if you attend the bosses constantly, you'll win stuff . Hopefully you come to the most popular and most xfered to server! Oh and by the way, from experience, a lot of people in dominant servers are ass holes. Not all of them but a lot are lol. Epona is filled with really nice people so you will not have to worry about that.

I have asked so many people in Epona and almost everyone has won stuff, at least the people who grind numerous bosses. Your statement that contest that you know a number of players who have won nothing after camping a lot of bosses for months is a lie. The people that go months and months without winning anything are the people who camp 1-2 bosses at most. The people who camp almost all dl and edl bosses will without doubt win something in about 1 week. Whoever you have known must have not been camping enough bosses. Also, that is what makes Epona great. There is actually a market in the game unlike every other dominant server. If I were to win a purple horn and a clan mate needs the horn, I am not forced to give it to a leader or to him. I can either sell to someone else, sell to him at a discount or keep it for myself. This aspect is what makes the market flourish in Epona, for items are always being bought and sold. If someone understands the market in Epona, how to farm and roll at bosses, they can gear themselves pretty fast. Now, I do agree some people can gear faster in dominant servers, but the people who gear faster are the ones closer to the big spell caster in the clan (I can verify this as it happened to me in my dominant clan). I had barely any points and was fairly new to the clan. The leader liked me a lot and geared me faster than someone who has been in the clan for a year. Politics and favoring is a big part for who gets geared first.

I can make that generalization as I know one thing. . . human nature. A majority of the people in top clans are assholes and do not care about anyone else but themselves and the clan. I understand that but I laugh when clans say that they do not recruit assholes, yet half of them are assholes. . . how ironic is that. All in all, dominant clans and servers are jokes. I like the aspect of cans working together and battling but OTM implemented that aspect of the game terribly. Instead, they created an environment were dictatorships can form. These dictatorship clans ruin the gaming experience as they have too many ridiculous rules. OP wants a casual server so Epona is for him, but Epona is still the best overall

Sounds like you were in the wrong dominant clan. My clan has an entirely objective system with everything done numerically, leader bias is irrelevant to the way clannies get geared. You attend a boss you get a 1 next to your name the person with the most aattendances gets geared.
