Are there any different between this two?
And is it worth lvl fishing to 180 to catch some gold fish?
Re: Shimerring Vortex vs rippling vortex
#2Shimmering vortex drops auroral trout common, aether pike rare, and astral Ray ultra rare....these fish are only worth 2k, they are for fishing quest at 180. While 2k sounds like a lot for a timed spawn it will cost you plenty in concentration potions. If you are just going to hit vortexes, and are under 180 you are going to go through a lot of concen potions to try to get the fish. Definitely not worth it since shimmering vortexes takes a lot to get
Rippling vortex gold carp common, auroral trout common, aether pike rare, astral ray ultra rare. Gold carp is worth 5k but you have to farm a lot of them to be worth it since they are a timed spawn, you will make more gold hitting carrow gold bosses than just 2k or 5k fish every 2 hours lol. Unless your fishing for the quest rod, and get higher level in fishing, it’s not worth it.
Fishing to higher levels is worth it if you stick with it. If you only fish once in awhile may as well stay in shalmont. If you want to get higher level in cooking go ahead And fish, but to cook the fish it cost 800 gold per spice. If you fish u will need spice for concen regen broth at 800 per spice and conger eels and dog fish. Plus you need to at least buy concentration pots at at least 200 per potion. So it’s easy to spend over 100k a day fish 180 pools.
The shimmering pool fish in 180 pools are only worth 81 gold, that’s it. The rippling has good fish to sell but those are far and few between unless you have at least a level 5 bear and at least 4 royal angler rings. If not those you will spend hundreds of thousands on 180 pools easily

Re: Shimerring Vortex vs rippling vortex
#3Good thing about high lvl fishing is like when u lvl high so u can farm low lvl mobs efficiently. Once ur high lvl fishing with strong rod, better rings and bear, u can basically farm low lvl spots much faster, not just shale.
