Clan Farming?

#1
Now the title is not exactly what it sounds like.

I was thinking what is something that is needed for all end game dps players... hard to get on every world... very very expensive... and can only get from one place with 1 thing.

Reaper rings bought with gold from the legacy shop.

But done by the clan obviously it’s going to be
expensive so everyone must somehow contribute.

I think you could turn it into something fun too.
For Example:

• Maybe you can set a date for everyone to save up some gold if you decide to do it semi-individually, everyone shows up and could gamble the rolls

• You could just have a date set for everyone to show up and just clear the rings over and over and hope you get one

• You could possibly take and collect raid boss gold and do a clan bank sort of way

• And I would like to here more suggestions from the community

Friendly feedback please and thanks, it’s a thought I came up with 20 minutes ago :).

So people would all contribute gold to the "buyout the lux shop" pool, then what, roll for the drops? What happens if a reaper ring shows up? Clan leaders decide who gets? It's rolled too?

I think you should reread my post... I answer that with 3 different ideas...

Sounds like a fun idea. Should be made clear tho the more gold u donate doesnt improve chances of getting the ring, im assuming thats how it works anyway

Couple of reasons why I believe this will not work.
1. Trust required - While everyone in a clan is closer to each other than to non clannies, you cannot say for sure that you would be willing to do a trust trade to anny clanny you know. So, how can you guarantee that the person who gets the reaper ring will play by the rules and possibly give away the ring to the person chosen to receive?

2. A reaper rings use - A reaper ring is considered the best haste ring in the game, thus costing millions. However, due to its price, only end game players that want the best of the best will spend the effort to get it. Still, is it worth the price? At end game, you usually haste for every major boss and dont need a haste ring for lower bosses due to how quick it is usually locked. In addition, even if u want a haste ring for when u solo, the 200 shop haste ring does enough, with no need for a multi million ring which is usually valued for its boost to attack which lower bosses dont require as much. Thus, is it worth getting the entire clan together so one person can have a little boost?

3. Gambling - So the foundation of this plan is that you will get the ring eventually. However, this is not for certain that you will get it quickly or cheaply. A person may get the ring after one try or may spend 10 million and get nothing. Is it worth the risk?

4. Gold - The lowest ring in the shop requires around 400k gold. Thus, you are expecting people to be using hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of gold to have a chance at having one more ring in your clan that might not affect the overall status all that much. Much less the fact that gold doesn't come out of no where, and is earned either through farming, merching or chests, all of which take either time or real cash.
---About the method you mentioned about turning in gold after every boss you kill which will usually provide around 80k a boss if the boss drops the same as a gold boss (major rds), i would say that it is a waste of gold and time. You would need to kill at minimum around 4 bosses to try to reset the ring slot which will usually take at least 2-3 days assuming its not on a reset day. So you will be waiting for around a month to have reset about 10 rings...and if the ring pops, only one person benefits out of that month.

(all of this is assuming that you dont sell the rings you just bought for half price. If you do sell the rings at half price, then feel free as it makes plat worth less and increases the value of gold, even if not by much and will increase your pace, though your conscience will haunt you about how you wasted 200k in a split second, lol)

If it was like a vendor where it requires 500,000/500,000 gold and once the clan fills it up everyone(that put gold in) gets some random maybe new lux that only comes from that vendor then I would probably contribute to it.
And maybe starting at 10k minimum, idk just something crazy in mind
