These past two 150% xp events have been a massive success as my clan and server have been more active than ever. I can’t remember a time where the activity and general positivity was so high than when these events have been going on. This has caused me to wonder why the xp boost has to be an event at all. One of, if not the main thing that turns people off this game is the massive amounts of time required to get to endgame. Increasing the xp rate permanently would create a situation where people enjoy levelling much more while still making it challenging to reach 220. I think VR would increase revenue if this were to happen as more people would continue playing the game rather than be discouraged.
As an endgame player myself who has multiple toons 220+, I know how much of a grind levelling is. There have been many occasions where I’ve wanted to quit the game because of it. Levelling alts these past xp weekends has been a much more enjoyable experience. I know it’s a long shot, but I really think permanently increasing the xp would be beneficial for the longevity of this game.
