Because we don’t need 1 active and 8 dead servers when we can have 3 very alive servers.

There has been a lot of discussion about this over the years and it always comes down to the individual ecosystems and economy’s of each server. Usually this comes down to rarities and collectibles as the value in these completely tank as soon as you can bring them in from another server. Another potential problem with this could be if a clan with fully geared dg toons all decided to transfer to a server that struggles to kill gele. Well now the players of that server have no chance and it kills the specific gameplay of that server. That being said the only way I see something like this working would be if transferred toons items are account locked so they can’t be traded from their account but can still be used. And if armor and gear are locked from being equipped. This would make it so the only thing you keep is your level and you will have to earn and go through all the armor quests again.

Do you have any idea how difficult it will be for players to farm, fish and all that.

Economy’s, ecosystems, blah blah blah. Yeah none of that matters lol. Server economies wouldn’t change in the high end zone because what’s rare on one server is likely rare throughout the entire game, it’s 10 years old ffs. People just know if server swapping was allowed that many would immediately leave their trash dom server and fill up Epona to the point where that server breaks due to too many players. Dom players can’t dictate a server if everyone leaves, terrifies them xD

I’m all for it, it’ll cleanse all the bad dom servers allowing for the server to essentially reset.

Howso? Isn't the point of a dom clan to dominate the server? Why would they care if their opposition leaves?

People clearly get bored when their competition leaves which is kinda ironic considering their sole purpose is to defeat the competition, makes no sense and it’s just shooting yourself in the foot lol. Plus who’s to say those in their own clan won’t bolt to Epona? Regardless, you’ll definitely see a sharper drop in basically almost every dom server and a sharp increase in Epona. I know, shocking to think how much more dead dom servers can get and how much more populated Epona can get.

Nobody is going to want to go to a dom server. 95% of the servers are dom, while it seems like 95% of the active player population resides in Epona hahaha. Dom servers don’t work anymore and are dying.
