K i take some fotos.
It doesnt matter if i wear armour or not, just get Same damage by shiverlord and other 4 Stars Monsters. Maybe the Armour Works on Low Stars Monsters but Thats Not the Point.
When you don't believe me i can Show you the Photos, but maybe you should First try yourself on shiverlords & co like it told in my discription - i dont try it on low Mobs. Maybe its just a Bug about the siverlord, don't Test this right now.
Maybe they did Fire damage ? Would Be very Bad unequip everytime your armour when the Mobs did other damage then slashing or crushing.

Anom does have a point I'm in crom as well and when armor is off theres hardly a diff. Idk why it doesn't change much so I tested a theory. I bought sucky armor and hits were the same as redclaw. I think it has more to do with defense then armor honestly. But it's whatever. Ik ima be criticized but WTF ever. Try it and see for yourself. Wish the admin would do his Job to and post an update once a week. Runescape post everyday. This is pathetic. And update?? I bet itll be up in a month or two. Sad :( who wants a free lv 47 because I'm bOred and runescape it big and has an app for iPhone now (jailbroken)

I actually noticed the same thing. I fought him with 139 armor - he hit for 50. Then i used lvl 10 protection stance and had 280 armor - still hit for 50+. Makes absolutely no sense.

Your energy problem agrees with my earlier post that warriors have too much of a penalty with skills, to which the devw have never responded ( nor have they responded to anything i have ever wrote or asked. This may be my last post, lol.
Hey a special response for you here :) We have addressed the energy in combat issue in the update, hopefully you will find an improvement when it comes out.

As for the protective stance, it will help against normal attacks but it won't reduce cold damage which is what the shiverlord does.

Ok thank you for your response.
So its not a bug about the shiverlord.
Would it possible to add Cold , Heat resistent etc in the normal armour, maybe through runes so you can customize your armour and decide what Protection rune you will use on which armour piece.
And it would Be nice if protective would also work against Heat , Cold , ...

Hi at the moment you can get cold resist on certain pieces of armour and items. It's a good idea to allow upgrades to current armour we'll definitely look into that as well.

This would be a great update in the future. The ability to go through some kind of process to add upgrades to armour such as resistance, defence, and even decorative looks. (glowing red for heat resistance, blue for cold resitance, and etc.)
