I am starting this topic because for my opnion CH gets boring.
One of the things I am missing in this game.. RISKS where are the damn risks? Risks make a game fun but CH has none?
If you die np there is no penalty just respawn and go on. You can run everywhere get lost into fights where you should not be because there is no risk!
How about stat points or skill points? Np take a book and you can redo! Also for my opnion everyone build there class the same... Put everything in the best stat and you are good ( maybe in rangers there is more varity). But you know both my points work together no penalty when you die? Why should I as a druid spend points in vit?
And last but not least pvp everywhere would make things less boring. Always the risk of being killed by a bad guy or some clan wars over bosses. Fun fun fun!
Now what I would like to know of you guys. How do you think CH can be made less boring? What should be changed or what should be implemented?
I think one of the things that should be implemented is a dead penalty, everytime you die you should lose a X amount xp. When this will be implemented the druid rez should change as following: a druid should be able to rez with a 5 min cooldown, by putting in skillpoints the % of xp-los will go down and fully maxed the player wont have xp-los. Idols should only rez and wont prevent to lose xp.
Re: Where is the fun?
#2If I am to be honest, the only part of this post that I agree with is the part mentioning the books of alteration/rebirth.
I agree that more risks are needed, but your ideas of risks are a bit too extreme for me. Some people spend so much money on one boss fight and if someone can casually come up to them and engage in PvP, they will lose everything. Even if the player had to accept/reject, it's a distraction.
I was thinking of more risky mini-games or features. The auction house will definitely be more of a risky feature if all goes well. I agree with the concept, but the 'risk' need not inhibit the fun it should create.
I prefer the idea of mystery. See this post for an example (read the first post for context too).
