Firstly, I like the idea of skills not being a guaranteed hit but like others, I am struggling to kill some mobs I had no problem with pre update. What I find is I can fight the same mob twice, win one and lose one. This is when I'm picking fights which I know are going to be close even before I engage. I am talking about taking on a similar level mob with three stars here.
I don't have much of an issue with this because I did read somewhere that three star mobs should be close battles and could possibly use an extra pair of hands. As I said, these same mobs were plain sailing and no problem pre update, even if I knew I would be fairly low on health afterwards.
I'm not completely sure of how the coding of all this is being handled but something that should be factored in here is your own weapon or skill ability, when considering a mobs evasion that is. If your ability is completely maxed to your characters level/potential, then there should be less chance of the mob evading. I'm not saying you should never miss mind you.
