And FYI it's not a fixed 12-hour spawn. At least not on our server. It's more like 12.5-13 hours so it's not always going to be 3am or 3pm like in your for example.

Yes, and every 12 hours is when another clan is stronger than our clan ATM (Even though we could take him, if that clan didn't ks)
That clan doesn't mind camping for an hour when they know he spawns soon and can ks us, And now that they changed it from 3 in the morning (because of server reset) There's no hope.. Unless there's another reset, they make it more random, or they miss ythair and he doesn't go down for a few hours (lol good luck, I'd be camping him anyways..... And trust me, they always send someone every 12 hours.)

The random timer was good because if you really wanted the gear you camped him, and had had higher chance of not being ks'ed by another clan, and a higher chance of getting the gear you camp for.

For craps sake man, setting your alarm to 3am to camp a boss?? Just relax and step away from the game. Try to get a little perspective here, this game will not bring your life satisfaction or grander meaning in the long term. Use it to pass the time when you're bored or have had enough of school, work, or whatever it is. Just try and get a little distance here, if this game is causing more stress than happiness it may be time to revaluate some things.

If you do choose to go overboard and restructure yer life to camp something then that's on YOU. That's your freaking choice and if it doesn't turn out how you want it to..the game isn't at fault. You need to deal with yer own sense of disappointment.

The entire community of casual-moderate players complained, they made a switch and now the moderate-hardcore players are angry, story of any MMO.

The event is on for at east another month, despite what Admin says, no way Update is coming before Columbus Day (Oct 8), just not happening. So slow yer roll and just take deep breaths and have fun, not nerdrage.

Ythair is supposed to be taken by clan, not a single camper like urself. At 115, u can't even dent it's scale.

Don't blame OTM, they make it lvl 140 for a purpose. They make the drop that good also with a purpose, although aileron will said otherwise lol...

Why waste time getting crap armour from other dragons, when I could be trying for the best?
Why try making more money for a good offhand, when I can always make money and get a good offhand, but can't always get this armour?
I'm not asking for the necklace back. I've already used a alt book to make all my skills weaker so that I can use them without too much energy trouble.

Before, when It was the random timer, most of the top three clans were killing ythair evenly (I think)
Now the other two are screwed and have no hope, due to his timer

Seriously? You camp Ythair for 12 hours knowing he has a 11-13 hour respawn? The other clan is smart.

The only time I camped 12 hours was when he was in a random timer, and we were able to at least get some armour for our clan.

Putting him on a timer is best because it means he will be killed the most times, meaning the most armor will be released into the world.

If you can't kill him, buy it. If you can't kill him or buy it, maybe you shouldn't have it.

This game was designed to be kind of a free for all. If you think random times will stop the top clan from getting it, you may be wrong. One of them will just camp it a lot and call the rest of the clan. As of now people aren't standing around watching paint dry for 6 hours at a time. That isn't a game, that's a deep personal issue. Go outside and play, then come back when he is about to spawn and make the best group.

I can't kill him, as stated above due to clan rivalry. I can't buy it, as it's the best dps gear ATM...... I might be able to buy a full set for about a mill in a few months though.. But how the hell would I get a mill? (Without buying plat..)

Free for all. Yep, we have ffa's on our server. Except when the other clan in particular is dps-strong, the other 2 clans are dps-asleep and don't have any chance..

I assumed that he'd stay n a timer. I assumed we'd still be able to kill him, therefore I assumed that I'd have full radiant about a week ago and I could just go back to casual.

I wasn't complaining that I got up at 3 in the morning for his stuff. If I can do a few all nighters what's some lost sleep?
It was fine, I liked camping it, but now I'm mad because now the whole "camping if you want gear" and "other clans getting his drops" concepts are gone.

Nobody is entitled to gear, you seem to feel like you are. This idea that you should have a full set of radiant a week ago is just nuts to me, I have been in the kill group for every Ythair spawn but about 3 or 4 and i still don't have full radiant lol, and I am not complaining about that i think it is what it is. Change timer don't change timer either way ya can't make everyone happy.

Dragons should be on a random spawn rate just like all the other bosses. This gives an unfair advantage to DPS heavy clans IMO.
