This isn't about transfer system or anything else, it's about cheaters.
OTM should IMO drop everything and correct this systematic flaw that will destroy the game if they wait too long.
I think its a very fine line OTM is walking now , waiting for update and all that goes with the update to correct this issue, I hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the arse.

I Dont see too much harm collision files Only few ppl use it on pvp of some players to run in the hills to some points with out getting aggro.
Where i see the harm is on messing with bosses like move them inside the walls , but are a lot areas the dont have collision files.
really will like to see them fix it. Good not half arse fix just because ppl is complaining about it ..
Take your time. Fix good because in new plataform (pc/droid) this will become a real issue .

#13Guys, what i thought was :
"Wouldn't it be a quick and easy fix if the .COLLISION files were renamed to an anonymous file that was incognito against the other files, meanin that it is named differently so that no one except the developers would know it is a collision file"
Feedbacks, comments appreciated, thank you!

#14I don't think what you saw was what you think you saw. The guy probably had multiple devices, and is pressing the buttons accordingly. What you saw was most likely very effective multi-tasking on the player's part.
What about BOTing? I saw a player on Taranis yesterday running around with 4 druids following him. The druids moved exactly the same and were obviously set to auto follow. They all were healing the same time as well.
I don't know what world he plays on, but there is a forum user who uses 5 devices (main and 4 Druids).
The following is not a bot, but rather moving the main out of spell range, and casting a buff. The Druids will then follow as they try to cast the spell, but won't actually cast the spell until the main stops moving.

#15You can't just snap your fingers and expect something to immediately appear.
Although i agree with you, this should be patched immediately (especially the bottling), this is going to require some time to fix.
OTM, are you guys going to work on this immediately, or continue patching it along with the other updates?

#16I am pretty fed up quite honestly. You can't just snap your fingers and expect something to immediately appear.

Simply because OTM has known quite specifically about MOD'ing for well over 3 months now. I would go so far as to say they have known about it for 4. So we are talking 12-16+ weeks of "we will remove this in the next update"
What next update?
It's BS. The next update needs a beta, and beta applications at least 10 days-14 days prior to that...so given the time frame..does anyone with ANY sense expect a Update 4 to be out prior to Dec 15th?
I definately don't. Not given what needs to obviously be tested, with more things every week being dusted under the rug of "we will fix that in the next update." similar to how they did last Update.
My main issue is this: I thought we learned. As a Testing community, as a Forum community, as a game company. I thought the company learned what happens when you wait 6 months to release an update and fill it with so many "we will take care of that in next update" things that only a fraction of those things can really be effectively taken care of.
Why? Because there's simply too much to test for the beta testers, who later will be strung out like sacrificial lambs to the rabid forum community. I loved the "Tea you broke my game!" posts of early summer, yeah seriously it was great.

I am gonna say this one final last time, it's common sense but it never gets heard, but I will try once more:
To fix the collision file Mods:
Change all the new file names in patches to unrecognized jumble names like djdndwmr124.fil, make them unknown and in that unknown jumble every patch re-patch the collision files. Just have the files replace the old collision files, or replace the missing files whatever the case may be. Then every patch a Mod'er would hafta remod, sniff out the files running the risk of literally stripping their game of files they would need. And if you kept doing this in patches every week, mod'ers would just give up. You could patch some minor maintenance patches, minor housekeeping, but just at the very least keep these mod-clowns at bay, sew some stitches into a tearing wound in yer game.
But no...wait for the next update, because that makes sense so much sense.

#17Hub doesn't bot, she multi-boxes, omerta, omerta2, mitigator, etc are her 2, 3, 4, and 5 devicesWhat about BOTing? I saw a player on Taranis yesterday running around with 4 druids following him. The druids moved exactly the same and were obviously set to auto follow. They all were healing the same time as well. We were in a group killing all seeing with this player and it was very ironic that the druids only healed him, they never spoke even while they were slowling being killed. And then just remained dead for several minutes until the main player had a second to revive them. This issue is going to be fixed in the next version of the app.
Unfortunately it is not something that can simply be patched, so it will be part of the new update.
I know there is nothing you can do about people using 2 devices and thats fine, but BOTing is ridiculous and there should be a way to stop it.

#19Mk Tea, didnt know it was this long.
Totally agree with you though, if its coming the next major update, thats at least 3-4 months until something actually gets done.
Thankfully, rhiannon isnt fully affected by this (though they are some players who run through walls to get to a boss faster).
Admin, answer please. Are you going to immediately remove this? Or continue with the major update, and give it time to get worse?

Re: this is getting out o f hand!
#20I thought the same, but I guess you would have had to just see it for yourself. It was too rythematic for every player to be acting the way they did. I know people who use multiple devices and they do not appear the same in the slightest. Each druid knew exactly what spell to cast for itself individually. Like it had a brain of its own - like it was being controlled by a computer. You can't tell me a person operating 5 devices knows which spells to cast for each individual player? They would spam very specific skills and thats it. These druids were casting meditate and other spells very specifically to when they must have been running low. For example, one druid would cast meditate, while other would be using nature breath, etc. Lets put it this way, it was wayyyy too perfect.I don't think what you saw was what you think you saw. The guy probably had multiple devices, and is pressing the buttons accordingly. What you saw was most likely very effective multi-tasking on the player's part.

I'd believe it to be an effective multi-tasker if it were maybe 3 devices, but 5 is excessive. (And no the auto-follow was auto-follow, they never cast a spell when the main player stopped. So unless he stopped every player from casting a spell when the main stopped thats the only way). I just find it too ironic when there are so many YouTube videos out there showing people exactly how to BOT and OTM hasn't gotten them removed to my knowledge.
