King Dreadbone is harder than Aggragoth. But at least OTM has added a new way of fighting bosses which now truly require more strategy than the usual "boss hits tank, healers heal the tank, dps kills boss" way we all have been doing for the last 1.5 years.

Kudos to OTM for adding a truly epic boss. He is level 140 mob so that he targetted for level 130-150 players, but I think he is actually a level 160-170 in terms of difficulty.
Yet the drops are for players level 90-100.

this guy is way too hard. we tried dragging him but couldnt get away from adds, witch are ten times the str of a blackstone master, and from what ive seen of the drops so far he isnt worth the effort. otm needs to decrease the adds hp, leave boss alone hes fine. and yes, its total *** we have to basically pay so much to kill this guy, id be happy buying ten super combo lixes each time i fight him due to how long it tales to kill or something, butwith adds taking out three dpsers to kill it and then im dead by the time idols cool off or they fly back it defeats the need to buy the plat to bee able to kill. i get the need to keep ppl buying plat and spending it, ive dumpped hundreds into this game and dont regret it for a second, but seriously, tone down the adds some so this guy aint a plat spending frenzy, in the long run we will spend more money on him if we think we can kill him, otherwise ull just have a big halloween decoration in hagvar's side yard.

No offense meant by this, but the assumption that your strategy as a team is so good that the only conclusion is it is too hard or requires too much plat is fallacious.

We did it on second try by getting all presently online clanmates together and we got it done. We have the chance to enjoy a rare gem in the mmo world, especially the mobile sector. CH is giving us content closer to some of those old school nintendo games that were hardcore, you all know what I mean. By asking OTM to make more epic content easier, or essentially watered down so people can defeat it day one is a dangerous road to go down.

True, Souls Ignited got the job done day one, but we just work well together, we dont rush in, we give people the floor in chat to share strategy and we all cooperate and execute. If we can do that, why cant others. Please stop assuming everything hard on the first try needs a tweak. As the customers the devs may listen and later you may find your self wondering why CH is so watered down....

The drops are 130 requirements though.

I think you will find that it's way easier than Aggragoth and when optimised with a good selective team, you can do it with a team of 8 still.

I do concur that it is a good boss, and is a test of organisation skills and communicating/working as a team. Ain't simply about pulling a bunch of players for a typical hack-heal type of fight. I like some of the new mechanics with dreadbone where he goes around hitting everyone in rapid fashion, ignoring all taunts and area effect dmgs. He does hit harder physically than Aggragoth.

For those who commented that the adds spawns too quickly - here's a different thought for you. It might be the greatest place to level for 120-130 with the speedy respawn in a small space!

I'd be amazed if an 8-person group can do him. He hits quite hard for one or two druids to keep the tank up. Maybe with lots of idols and pots, but we always think of a boss kill with 0 plat and 0 deaths as our objective.

This is one perk of being a noob :D But 4k dmg on a freaking lvl 150 tank...... Think I'm gonna go cry in the corner now :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: Aggy does like maybe 1.9k at the most but 4k??? Wow. Yeah well the Revolter isn't close to as hard as this, but us noobs had to call in a lvl 105 tank to finish it off... he was killed like twice and Revvy kept shield bashin em!!!! They made these bosses pretty hard... I like it! :mrgreen:
