I dont agree:) its a good idea to start putting two handed weapon in the game: diversity gyes!!! Its cool! As an exemple i m using ln my alts all these weapon, caus i can have a decent dmg without buying an offhand, thats pretty useful tbh.
So yes, apart dagger, wand (maybe totem) who is reeeeeallly useless because they are two handed, the others are cool like thayvi think!:)

Wtf are you on about? 2 handed bow ? Rangers quiver adds range , the bow is 2 handed and eliminates quiver . These weapons are pretty and that's all . Oooo I see now , you play a ranger but don't use a bow so you don't care about other bow rangers , of course you have a rogue and say that dagger should be changed.
Logical speaking hear, Bows are two handed.. One to hold the bow and one to pull the string...and a quiver is on the back not a offhand items, so therefore Rangers still should be able to us a quiver but that would make people complain...

That's absolute bs IMO, it's suicide for anyone under 120 to have 300 or more strength, this also relates directly to my thread about end game bosses dropping end game loot... Sorry otm but these weapons don't meet the standard, I can honestly say that they are more useless than some of those crappy Samhain rings

Regarding the live game... yes, these weapons are currently less desirable that one would expect from an event boss.

That being said, I refuse to believe that OTM is unaware of the 2H weapon problem. Druids and Warriors specifically have complained for ages that 2H weapons are useless. That a 2H Totem of all things exists makes me think something is in the works.

Maybe I'm simply an optimist, but with Update 4 looming of the horizon, I have to wonder if this is not a well designed plan to bring some very powerful 2H'd weapons into the game, and that Update 4 will see some engine or character changes that allow for these weapons to be viable.

Example: In Update 2 the camo charm was generally disregarded... the regen on other necklaces was simply a better choice. Update 3, however, saw the misc slot added, which created the possibility of a charm/necklace combo.

Who knows what Update 4 will bring... but as for me, I am not going to underestimate these weapons. They may be the first piece in an intricate puzzle.

Stop being so reasonable! My buddy in game had the same thought . It's definitly worth hoping for but eh who knows.

I like my bow it looks cool , but I think it's gonna be purely ornamental .
lol... thanks Elim. I take as a compliment any statement that includes myself with the words logical or reasonable. Of course, I would equally enjoy your statement with the adjectives dapper, stylish, savvy, ... man I could go on and on.

Point being, the update surely has the possibility to bring a connector to these weapons. Since someone said they were noob-worthy, I just wanted to give an alternative idea. I think these weapons are massive, and hope that their value can be matched by future engines/character enhancements, or whathaveyou.

That would be overpowered tal, speed is everything with current items, if I have a super fast weapon, with a gOlden offhand, rad chest and legs, rad neck, 4 aggy rings and a couple damage bracelets, that's going to be 600 or so extra dmage, on top of wep damage, at a super fast speed

I really don't see the issues here they level the field on melee class making all both two hands, i can see a issue in druids and mages cause the dont need strength, owning a few this weaps i can say damage base skill is higher and none offhand/main hand cannot reach the same pure damage .

The devs did a good job they nail it the damage need it for this pacth without making op and gave rogues and rangers high damage weapons too. The issue is not the weapons ()but the game dinnamics making obsolete all 2 hands , because of the mobs having high evasion and skill attachment to weapon speed . the damage is perfect .
the dps is terrible bad ,but i think somewhere still a nefted pacth that affect the games dinnamics for 2 weapons .

I see the issue with rangers and rogues but its fair if the change rogues/ rangers weps to 1 hand weps they got be nefted ridiculous low to keep fair. All make them all 1 hand ......

Mages and druids weapons should be revise For the strength requirements .... Cause they are the only ones the really are poor thougth out .

When have they ever changed weps/armor esp event drops after its release? Never. Theyll just make u wait till next time they make somthin similar and try get it right then. I support ur suggestion, but probably not gna happen.
They updated to add a winterking totem after not having one..
Sighs... Its like u people struggle to read before u comment. Im talkn about changing stats on an item that already exists, not adding an extra new wep. They add new loot in/quests etc all the time, but they never change stats on somethin thats alrdy out. How many people complained about frozen armor/weps for casters? How many people complained about how crappy the king drops were? Did they change them? No. They lowered lvl req on king rings which didnt solve anything.

Just be optimistic like Dersu, hopefully they got some better 2Hs planned for updt.
