Me and Priest share very similar stories (along with being on the same server)
I have NEVER bought plat, and never intend to. I like this game, especially since it is a FREE mmo that DOES NOT REQUIRE in-app purchases to reach the level cap and/or access certain areas, unlike another mmo i know (*cough* Oac *cough*). That is what makes this game great.
I have been considered a legend. At the time of this post I am level 120, and heal 1510. That is #3 on our server and #61 in CH. at level 115 I held the record for the largest heal ever by anyone under lvl 120, with 1387. I have rarely elixed, I hardly ever carry idols, and I generate all my income through merchandising.
I am a proud owner of *almost* full connacht magus (no helm), earthstone bp and greaves, loads of solstice/midsummer, a bloodlust, +15 dmg ammy, druid halloween charm, and many more. I am very wealthy, with a record of making 2 million in less than a week. My druid guide has inspired thousands, and I periodically give new lvl 50s full warden. I am also perhaps one of the only highlevel druids in taranis who would say "omw!" to a whisper of "bonehead guard up". I have accumulated a reputation of a friend to all, and have given away both a ymir hammer and ymir spear. Through kindness have received many benefits (including a grand nat. touch ring as a gift). Three people so far have given me their accounts upon their leaving, including a lvl 89 rogue who I have leveled and is now 120 (my leveling partner). I can and have solo healed every boss in the game with no tank deaths (except aggra, bladewing, and event bosses). My mage has the highest pvp rank in Taranis as an Invincible Professor. I have never been scammed or attempted scamming, all my items are from boss drops or gold.
I am one of the wealthiest people on the server, yet I have never bought plat. My redemptions are my contributions to our community, Taranis, and the Druid Race
