Well on my dps mage lvl 100 on bosses such as swamp all seeing and woodcrown and all stonevale bosses which some are higher some are lower i never really see myself miss more then 2-3 in a row and most of them hit my max or fire is not maxed or even close. As a rogue i seem to get alot more parry, miss, dodge with 3000 attack then a mage with 800 fire ability. As i said consider yourself lucky.

I noticed evades on mages went up 2 weeks ago, all of a sudden

Yes I have missed 8 spells in a row a few times that's just wrong considering how much energy that is at lvl 50 ice shards and maxed firebolt. That shouldn't happen.

I often have 5 misses on a grimwall but average around 2 per golem maybe admin can explain whats going on ? An what exactly effects evades and how. Can we reduce them
Maybe theres a flaw in the formula ? Decimal point in wrong place a - instead of a +

Huge difference Brookie is if you don't want to miss as much you have plenty of options to increase attack. For mages, there is no option to reduce evades. As I mentioned in my previous post, fire and ice skill do not lower evade chance in all the testing ive done. They simply increase damage slightly.

Also, as Drizzt mentioned, the cooldown on our spells has huge implications for DPS loss because of this. I've actually had 7 evades in a row on Falgren and got ks'd by a lvl 120 rogue when I was 155. This is with amazing gear, 50 firebolt, 49 ice shards.

Think of it the other way around you have no option of decreasing your evade also. You level plays a huge part and there is no way in hell you missed 7 times in a row on falg at lvl 155... Not a chance admin has stated directly that lvl plays a part in evades before and your 65 lvl above the boss. Yes i have ways to increase my attack but it also means if the m

I'm not a liar, maybe it was extremely poor luck but I did get evaded 7x in a row on Falgren; I've also been evaded 8x in a row by Stonelord at level 153. My point is that you have options and I don't. If I had the ability to gear or stat into missing less I would, as it is a massive drop in my DPS from even one missed ice shards. I'd rather hit more often for less than hit harder and have a chance of what happened to me at Falgren/Stonelord.
