Re: Still 10 exilars per level?

120 hours is 5 days... Now what are you maoning about 5 days of lvling. Is not alot at all really. If you don't wanna elix jus dont and lvl slowly an hour a day or 2 or elix an hour a day you make your gold back anyway. People will just grind for 12 hours a day for 10 days and then be 180... So yes it's a bummer for those who don't lvl that much but means the ones who lvl loads dont reach end game to easy. Check leader boards you will be suprised.

I agree with you donko. The game just keeps getting more difficult. I can't imagine how the lower levels must feel. But I read in a separate topic that admin is going to change up the gameplay mechanics so that it does not cost money to play the game, like it does now. Idols pots etc. Yes one can say they bought all their idols and elixirs with in game earned gold but someone had to buy the plat right? CH might be looking at a future where luxury items actually make the game easier instead of bearable and idols an pots won't be needed if you have the adequate armor and skill along with a Druid or 2. :)
I gotta say reading this im a bit torn on this. While yes its a pain to lvl and takes forever but i think thats the point. Im lvl 154 ranger and it has taken me about a year to get to that lvl. I am pretty active in my world lugh but like i said thats the point of these games. To take time. If you could lvl in 20 mins whats the point? Yes i wanna lvl like anyone else but its one of these long term building a character type. I also think the game developers added quests to really help upper lvls. The Dailey quests if you only do those to lvl takes about 3-4 weeks now. Crazy slow but without those you would never Beable to lvl.

My second comment im sure will get some hatred by many but i don't think you NEED to buy plat to play. I think plat items make the game easier and helpful but it isn't needed. Yes Idols are but you can lvl without elixers, play without sigils and so on. I am one of those who hasn't bought plat and i lvled to 154 and has the most gold in my world (atleast in actual gold not items). It can be done without plat is my point harder and more time consuming. These games in my mind arent for people that can only play 30 mins a day. You defently need more time if you wanna be elite. But you can still play and have fun at a medium lvl regardless.

Wow lon post for me. I seriously need to get into the game and start playing again lol.

I'm level 152 and was soloing and got 5-6 Elixers per a level. (1 and 3/4 little bar per lix about)
I assume that is on your rogue with your druid dealing extra damage out of group

Well im a slightly lower level 111, but now I can(not easily) level without elixers slightly easier than before. Same thing with my rogue friend who is level 121. But I think it is a lot easier to level at these lower levels now, partly because rogues can now somewhat solo level and level well with a healer who heals less than 500. Idk what it is at later levels, but I'm not sure that the point of later levels was to lvl without elix, more like lvl with less elix(but ten per level seems outrageous).

+1 to Lostgirl and +1 to Brookie

My thoughts: Number one, you do not need plat to play this game. Patience is a far greater virtue for success. Number two why would I want to be at the top and bored? People have been playing this game for years. That is the nature of the game. I am only level 126 and i have no interest in rushing to the top. There is so much cool content to explore for my 126, but there is equally enough to do for my level 90, my level 70, and my level 50 alts.

I just dont understand the mentally of "i need it now. Now, now, now. I am entitled to everything now!"

Grats to OTM for a great update. The glitches will be worked out. And I fully expect to not finish exploring this update and the changes for months to come, and ithat is with playing an average of 4-5 hours per day mind you.

You may not need to buy plat but other people do how many people do u know over 100 who never used a elix u may not perssonnaly buy plat but you buy plat items from other people in the game the idols restos alt books rebirths andnelixs you buy come from somewhere
I think pots should be purchasble in game wih gold and alt books and rebirths
Elixs and evrything else can stay in plat shop because those are not really needed but I consider pots and the books something needed by thw common player

OK, here arfe my issues with the current leveling system.
Throughout this game, from update 1, there have been 4 groups of levels.

UPDATE 1:

Casual gamer: level 30
Dedicated gamer: level 40
Plat buyer: level 50
Elite plat buyer: level 60

UPDATE 2:

Casual gamer: level 70
Dedicated gamer: level 80
Plat buyer: level 90
Elite plat buyer: level 100

UPDATE 3:

Casual gamer: level 130
Dedicated gamer: level 140
Plat buyer: level 150
Elite plat buyer: level 160

UPDATE 4: (Should be)

Casual gamer: level 160
Dedicated gamer: level 170
Plat buyer: level 180
Elite plat buyer: level 190

As it is now, a casual gamer will take approximately 80 hours of fighting time to hit level 160 and that to me is unacceptable!

I have no issues with people that want to spend all their time trying to hit the highs that are possible, but who would want to play for that long just to be of an average level.
And dont forget that without the level 160's about the new bosses simply wont be killed!

Remember, this is just mine and some others opinion.
