I don't know if any of you have tanked High King Ymir or the new dragonlord bosses that Body Slams. They freeze the tank and wipe aggro completely. That's an intentional design.

The way the game is going, OTM intends aggro management to be a huge part of boss/mob encounters. Yes, tanks have now a bigger job than just to spam cast Taunt and Warcry. Are they still good at it? Maybe not as well as before, but there is no other class that can do it.

Hmm, but even maxing my taunt and using fabled ring I can't get a mob back on to me once it is off. I have 120 lvl warriors doing more dps than me and I can't taunt mob back on. So it is not about better management for me, it seems to me to be about making taunt a vaguely effective skill again. It really sucks at the moment as a pure tank in a big boss fight. You are set up to take the hits and you cant get the aggro because it is all going at the dps or healers.

Yes i have tanked high king ymir before. Once he was off of me it was easy to get him back on me. the way taunt should work is to draw aggro and keep aggro. Now taunt is the equivilant of a puppy barking at a tree.
