The skill type that is listed in the description tells you what evasion the target will need to have to avoid the skill. Mobs may have different ability levels just as we do. Certainly in PVP, the opponent will have different ability levels.

Also helpful because if I want to train my movement evasion, then I go to the arena on a wisdom and get my friends to cast bolas and roots etc on me.

How well I can evade movement attacks against me has no impact on whether mobs can evade mine.

Yeah people have trued to tell me that raising my dex would help land more bolas -_- It's ranged combat alone that attributes to landing skill hits. On this note I would like to ask otm to lower boggan boss movement evasions... Lvl 190 with max ranged combat and I usually miss about half my bolas casts on them.

If you are a rogue and you use fast reflex, higher dex means you can increase your defence with fast reflex at the same level.

It's good that some have higher resists - and different resists - than others, otherwise it'd be like fighting the same stuff over and over, just with different shapes. Boggans are good at resisting bolas, so it's the job of people fighting to be prepared for that eventuality - not for the boss to be modified to make it easier.

Your respective skill ability affects your skill accuracy, as well as dmg.

So for a rogue, cunning increases skill dmg and accuracy, rangers - ranged combat, druid - nature magic, etc...

Yeah I guess. I rage every time we fight a boggan lol...

Dexterity only helps auto and dodging. Abilities help skills hit better.

^^ With maxed ranged combat, lots of bolases seem to miss still on mobs same level.
