Yes, anything earned by quest is fine.

A Mage is like a Lamborghini, You don't get one as your first car or daily driver and there are cheaper cars that go faster and are more comfortable anyway.

So we are doing well! Most people seem to log in for an hour or so at a time as a break or whatnot. I feel like this is a good way for it to be and hopefully be a sustainable minigame. Come join us!

You pick the best time to start before event

. I would have done it near end or middle of event so people could enjoy it first.

Well we are still waiting for the event so this is a good way to burn time while you wait. Also yes I expect the ladder to pick up more as the event winds down.
