Re: As events go by Chests seem less attractive to buy

I've had around 800 bank expansions and backpack expansions at one point. gave them away or used them in my lottery's.
As for charms they are stacked in my inventory I have countless boggan n firbolg charms I don't use and cannot sell even charms are becoming more rare though and they are worth less. In first event I got 30+ jotun n the other charms from 1000+ chests, I remember we got a special box then that gave a random charm. This event ive gotton 1 charm from 1000+ chests.
Also sucks that we now have defence armour and attack elixers that seems to lower out chances of haste etc.
Also i get 5k from the chests so much. I buy chests 20k each to get 5k back or even less if I get wisdoms or expansions, instruments i make nothing back because no1 buys as every1 has stacks of them.

As I am known also to buy a chest or two one thing I have noticed is that the amount of lower tier items of which you can let's say "win" are increasing.
And in place reducing the percentage of higher tier prizes of which have not increased, which overall reduces the value of each chest but yet they remain the same price to buy.

Bank exp, backpack exp, 5k golds we expect even the single sigs boxes, but cloud rods? 20 variations of headwear with sometimes 2-4 versions of each, the added new lixes, charms in so many variations and to top it off reduce the mount drop rates (which really is the only top prize outside gold or plat).
If the lower tier drops have increased why have the higher tier not done so?

I feel like I am getting less and less from chests: in the summer event a year ago when they were first introduced, I got a few good things. Now, all I get are bank expansions, a few sigils and maybe some gold. Maybe it's just my luck...
I feel like the heroic attack defense and armor lixes changed the chance to get good stuff. I agree too...I used to get good things when the chests were first released but now i get all bank exp and 5-10k and occasionally sc and stuff...

After totaling up the posted and my own opened contents from several events the expected value of a chest is around 14-15k for only a few hundred chests. They often sell for 15-20k on my world. Thus they are not worth buying. If you get the rarest mount, or 2m prize it adds more to the average value but with such a small chance it's far more likey to get typical content.

When I can get them for under 15 I've bought a few and never actually gotten any significant money from them. I refuse to buy them with real money.

Personally I would like to see unique items included within chests, one off weapons, or braces and rings etc,
By unique i mean one of each type for each class and no more, this would add a whole new twist to chests and sought after items
.
This is a great idea. More unusual items. They don't have to be crazy powerful but they should be useful.
