I tested the golden blade of ice and the fiery axe of conquest with the sv vendor, both which gave 50% buyback. Perhaps it is only lux weapons?! Jeesh!

I tried selling the falchion I bought from the catacomb which is around 2K and the vendors are only buying it for 38 - 50 gold.. -_-

I believe the reason is to help with inflation. You have gold coming into a system constantly with mob kills. You have little to take money out of the system (event and lux do some) or the prices always just keep going up. So this scavenger hunt helps take money out of the system if you are not wise in your selling.

Your fashion vendor is wrong, I have tried to sell fashion to vendors (red ardmair boots) and the highest I could sell for was 1800k, and thats something that the Dustwither Shop would give me (dont remember the exact name but he is near the stairs)

It has nothing to do with inflation, or taking money out of the system due to an influx of gold from mob kills. Gold from mobs is poor, at best, with the cost of lux, lixes, idols, rebirths, etc., being exceedingly high.

If there's so much gold floating around amongst players in the game, most players would have full lux of the appropriate level. On the contrary, creating a situation where items have a low re-sale value, is just another attempt by OTM to get people buying plat.

Agreed! But the game has to make $$$ they shouldn't be penalized for tht... We always knew it's a pay tow win the game unless ur a op merch like me ofcourse I always find a way to complement myself lol
