Not really the same since you have to get everyone on the server to download it, and even then there will be people who don't have it

With an auction house ur items can be sold without having to be there yourself, its not the same. 3rd party apps used as an auction house shouldnt be required, its an mmo ffs, were at u5 and still no auction house

It would mean people would have to sell their items for more than they're worth in order to compensate for the tax or whatever you want to call it.

It's good as it helps remove some gold from the game but it's bad because it's bad.

A tax would make sense actually, for the convenience as well as to act as a gold sink, low though like 3-5%
