Its quite understandable, it says generally that both strength and weapon ability are affected by str, and elemental dmg is a plain number. U need to do the calculations tho to get to the numbers she has in the formula.

Swan's formula is quite accurate. It calculates the DMG stat in the Stats Menu.

Just paste the formula in an .XLS sheet, have several columns filled with 50-increasing values of Str and Weapon Ability (eg. 50,100,150,200...) and play with it.

OR directly fill the values with your own Str, Ability, Total Physical DMG and Elemental DMG. Served.

[(Square root of str times 0.15... + square root of ability times 0.06...) all this times Physical dmg ] + elemental dmg.

Swan's formula? I remember the Auto damage formula being around long before Swan appeared in the forums. Maybe Swan is a second account of an older forum user?

Wasn't that Papi's work or Sir Blaze or MdiMarco? Though I see the formula quoted here is a little different.

Papi was definitely first, mdimarco took credit for nothing, Swan I believe improved the accuracy of the formula.

Learning some simple math skills can actually help you out quite a bit.

People often get the total cost of cell phone plans, auto and home loans wrong by 2-5 times the actual amount. Not knowing how interest and payment plans work can be bad for you. If you think farming for dl and edl is bad wait until you try to pay off predatory loans irl.
