Yea, that will definitely be a possibility to face, fury. Probably the merchants will take a big hit too since they're apt to loiter in the castle waiting for that crucial deal. I more often than not sell for the sake of selling. As in, I sell items very cheap cause getting rid of them faster is what's important to me

I am 100% for Auction Houses.

It puts the onus of item prices on the sellers. No more things like "Selling XXXXX. Offer".
It makes the market/economy more stable and it allows everyone who don't like monitoring the shout channels in all zones access to any items that are on sale.

I think AH should've been done before Crafting, since it would have provided a mechanism for crafters to sell their wares.

Don't forget, you don't have to use the system for more rare items, as for lux with no level requirment, do you really think only 1 person on an entire server is looking for that specifc item such as heroic ammy?

This makes the game harder for the non plat players who really need the extra gold selling their items. And plat people can just buy stuff and not worry about the selling part, because they can always get more gold.

If you mean sitting in castle all day and shouting the same thing over and over, no thanks.

This will finally stop people from selling for inflated prices, someone can do what is right and set combo prices for 8k or hastes for 2k, then others will look at it and sell for that much.

Will also help noobs in discovering prices or items.

+1 auction house is greatly needed. Not only does it stabilize in game economy it allows new players to see what is available for gear as they level up. While providing it at a decent price. As a semi new player I can tell you it isn't fun getting ripped off constantly because people want to inflate prices. Anyone against auction house is usually said person just my 2 cents.

I've merched before and nothing is worse than advertising for hours on end to get rid of items, auction houses would just make things easier.

Im a merchant and Idgaf if they implement it, I want an auction house as I have about 10k old items that I want to sell but idk where to start so advertising it on an auction house without posting a huge list of items in shout would help loads

That's the thing, you don't want an auction house because it cuts into your profits. Not wanting something implemented that the vast major do because of your virtual wealth is selfish.

The auction house is super convenient and keeps the cost of items at about a flat rate. You keep saying if people know where to go...aka go around hunting down a merchant. If we had an auction house they would know where to go.

I went through a merchant once and was charged a reasonable amount on an offhand and absolutely overcharged on a bracelet. Auction house would have made both items reasonably priced
