No not really... Also closed beta is exactly as open but amount of player differences. In closed beta you gotta use all items you have and 0 items from OTM. In open beta they sometimes boost you or give you items. So there is not mug differences which one you go into.

I see where you might think Only past closed beta testers in new betas. The thing is I believe sure they all do sign up everytime... But I am pretty sure not everyone gets in. I believe they choose random people if they meet lvl requirement
