I was thinking of trying a cruel knife Ranger, using those same skills (except double attack), I had a blast with it when I made a cruel knife rogue (without a lux offhand, however, just a 125 dmg brand and heroic gloves). Think it'd be viable?

But how the hell would the dagger work for the ranger?

Not very well. It's a dagger, ranger won't hit much. Go knuckleblades instead.

I'd still use spear as u can get a spear with stats on it unlike knuckle blades. Having high dex would help you hit with a dagger but spears are better dmg and stats like said.

Yea without dagger ability you will miss tons. Try using a spear it works ok as a crazy alternate build. Aggy and mordris spears are the best ones.


For a really crazy build try a str Druid. Go half and half focus/str and rest vit. Use a totem and elemental offhand. Max wind, nature touch, and the rest dps skills. Have good armor and good in combat lux regen. It's crazy and kinda works.

I seem to recall posting a build about focus rogue... It works, and now with zephyr ammy.

It sounds crazy but the best overall dps build I've found for my rogue without lix actually involves either some gear with energy or some focus. My sweet spot seems to be about 1500-2k energy. I use some energy regen items also. If I want to get about 5% better dps at the expense of popping an energy lix I can switch up my gear. Even then unless I have about 1200 energy i dont regen fast enough on lix and have to sigil.
