I travel to more then 15 bosses using travels in 3 weeks. Your calulations look inaccurate.

I don't think many people buy the new mounts every event

Id rather use my mount the majority of the time and only use travels if a boss is up and a rival clan is getting ready to lock battle so I'm not wasting time getting weapons out and waiting for my offhand skill

It's just a estimate. And that's not including bosses in tower, as those aren't bosses that give their own drops, they give items for edl. Instead im accounting for bosses like snorri, aggy, mordy, etc.

You have to take into consideration, if you pop a lix and run to one of those bosses, you'll spend the rest of that lix at that boss. Therefore atleast 1 lix per boss.

Run lix are nice in large open areas where mobs are far apart and you are grinding. If you don't use a combo for whatever reason then it's nice.

Your calculations are so unrealistic

Mount prices are way inflated. I think the main purpose most people use a mount for is to get around, and as for the rest it's nice. .and convenient. . But secondary. Once you get to 100+, i don't think most people use mounts in battles with bosses their level. I think mostly people use mounts in battle for soloing lower bosses or maybe not soloing, but very small groups. Maybe some use during leveling but most have offhands and weapons that they would prefer to use more. So in effect, people are paying to have features on a mount, that are nice.. and convenient. . But not really the main purpose of why they bought it they are basically extras people don't utilize in all scenarios to justify the price of the mount. It's fluff to inflate the price. . I am waiting in anticipation for battle mounts, to be honest, all i really want is a mount that i can go fast on and use my weapons and offhand during battle. Anything else is extra to me.
