Ive tried invite numbers of people (over 500 at a time) multiple times, the 10-20 that actually download it each get made at level 15? or at 8. In that general area involves tons of running and at 8 is when the mobs get harder and most aren't willing to go thru the trouble (this is what i was told) Or they simply cannot figure out the stat and skill system and end up sucking and getting mad and delete it

Heroes landing does about as much as the level 5 mobs in sewers *next to nothing*

I really like the add, many of you think it's a waste of time, but this really would suck players in. When I went here the first thing I noticed was the great particle effects of the smoke and burning trees, it really shows what Celtic heroes has to offer in the future and is very eye catching. The first thing I did was explore and then wall glitch to explore at the top of the hill near the castle part lol.
It is within you to succeed

If OTM really wants new players to understand how the game is, they need to make it so that players need to kill 90-100 mobs to get from the dock to the castle.

In OTM's defense, I can understand why they would want to make the game look good in the beginning, a lot of people DO judge the game based on the first 20 minutes of gameplay. However, they shouldn't be fooled into thinking that there is an actual quest line (or quests at all), multiple feasible types of weapons, and so on. Sometimes I think OTM stopped the quests* halfway through the otherworld just because they figure that the players who stick around will be the hardcore players, and will continue to support the game, and people who are looking for a fun game to play in their spare time, will probably have quit.

*c'mon OTM, no one counts the newest quests in carrow and fingals as actual quests, I really don't think anyone does them, sadly. If they lasted for 45-60 minutes though...it may be worth it.

The biggest turn off is the ridiculous health and energy regen. I started my Mage in 2011, got to level 6 or 7 and thought **** this and left for over a year. I only came back when more content was added and I had enough devices to use a Mage and Druid at all times to solve my energy and health issues.

They should make it were you have to kill 50 to level then 300 more until you get your armor quest to obtain from killing a level 50 mob as a level 2

I joined in 2011 because I sucked at Runescape. I stayed for 3 years because of the friends I made. I left because my friends left, and have been on/off ever since, because there was absolutely nothing to keep me coming back. The content was, and still is nothing special. Apart from not being engaging, it is riddled with problems. Time and time again I have said to the devs, both those still at OTM and those that have left, to fix the problems before adding new content. Regardless of whatever verbal affirmation or encouraging response I got, the only action ever taken was adding a "new" event to fool the players into thinking there was more content (we all know these new events are just the same old crap with different names for the chests and hats).

If you take a look at the actual honest content and features that have been added since the Otherworld in 2012, you see there really isn't much. We got Carrowmore and the Tower (both huge great additions), we got pets, we got a bounty board, and we got easy to do miscellaneous fixes like removing BOE. In 4 years, this is honestly the only new content I see. I was told last year fishing was in its final art stages and almost ready for beta, but I guess that didn't happen.

For the final time. Please stop adding new damn events and changing the look of things. Firstly fix all the problems that have been reported countless times since the destiny release, and then add the features that have been requested thousands of times since the release of the game. Then you should entirely focus on the true content you had planned like fishing, and only once that is done should you even consider adding a new event or changing what things look like.

Events are a way to distract the players and buy yourself time for adding new content. When you spend that time creating the next event, or thinking about what wonderful new mounts you can add, or thinking about changing art aspects, you waste everyone's time including your own.

New players means more money for you, I get it. But what is more important - getting new players that will spend $100 and quit, or giving the current players a reason to stick around and spend much more. Regardless of your decision, you have made enough money by now to be able to stop working on getting new players, and focus your resources on adding a reason to keep the players you have and whatever players join in the time that you spend working.

Muldar, this is one of the things I referred to. The design team made some cosmetic changes in an area that players spend so little time in rather than tackling issues players complained about. Maybe this will be a decent example, you have a leaky faucet and a toilet that won't quit running. Your landlord comes in and remodels your bathroom when you didn't want or need it remodeled or specially before the sink and toilet were fixed. Then the landlord comes over and replaces the bathroom floor again but doesn't fix the sink or toilet. Then the landlord comes over and paints the bathroom without a dressing the sink and toilet. Two years later he replaces the toilet but doesn't fix the sink and throws on a new bathroom door when your bathroom door was fine. Eventually you'd be exasperated and ask why was so much time spent on issues that didn't need to be fixed and the real problems were still prevalent.

There isn't a single player that quit because they thought "heroes landing just doesnt catch the eye enough" .
