One thing that sometimes happens on games is that when the game is updated, it doesn't remove the old data from your memory, it just writes new one. Meaning that when you update you have both the old version and the new updates on your phone. A simple re-install should solve he problem (if it indeed is that), but OTM should look into it since I don't think it's too hard to fix.

Yea, they need to update it because for new interested people who want the game but are low on storage that'll be a real turn off.

It is a zipped file, it is a smaller file to download then once on your device it extracts the files.
