Re: Is Auto-Damage Nerfed in PvP?

Anyone else think fluctuations need to be rebalanced even more._.? I mean the last rebalance was good but now with the addition of newer bosses and stuff that weren't present at the time, I think it'd be great to rebalance them.
What last rebalance?

Players have always thought that the damage fluctuation range is too wide, and we have given this feedback many times over the years. With armor and resistances, it's not unusual to see your average damage only be 20-40% of max.

How many mobs have you fought with 0 armor and 0 resistances? Even at 50% it's atrocious. But OTM has chosen so far not to change anything so I wouldn't expect it ever changing.

There's also a rumor back in the day that rogues and rangers have narrower range and their lowest percentage is much higher than warriors. Something to do with high dex. Try another class and see.

I do recall some sort of change. Idk if it was fluctuations but there was some sort of balance regarding mages. It may have just been mage skill fluctuations only but I'm not entirely sure

Whatever they did to Mages, it has likely reverted or was overwritten with one of their many disastrous data copies from test server to live server. Mages get evaded more than ever. Even mobs 100 levels lower. Damage fluctuation is back to what it was as well.

From looking at the data on the server and reviewing it further with the Design Team there have been no adjustments to the evasion rates post re balance.

OTM had unintentionally reverted changes before that they weren't aware of.

Snorri originally had a 1 hour 50 minute respawn. On Jan 2015, they patched all bosses to increase spawn rate by 10% http://celtic-heroes.com/forum/viewtopi ... =3&t=72110 We were actually complaining (http://celtic-heroes.com/forum/viewtopi ... 10#p561713) because it just made us camp even more, and Snorri was then a 1:39 respawn for a few weeks. But after another unrelated patch, Snorri was back to 1:50 without anyone from OTM announcing the change. We didn't complain about it because we didn't like the 10% faster respawn in the first place. So now it's back to 1:50 and because it was 1:50 originally, and currently it's 1:50, doesn't mean the 10% spawn boost didn't happen.

I'm attempting to get screenshots of my test partner's equipment and stats as well, Muldar.

Edit: My test partner's damage has gone up since the test due to an increase in her sword ability but here are her stats and equipment:
It would probably be best to re do your test free of any gear or armour to have a clean control.

Have both character at the same stat levels etc.

If I get a free moment today I will do some testing myself.
