Hey Heroes,

Based upon player feedback we are reviewing the drop rates for Arcane Sanctum Runes of Fire, Ice and Lightning from non sentinel mobs.

While we are happy with the design of these consumables the frequency at which they drop will be adjusted to be lower.

I've reread through the threads involving fissures and there was only 1 suggestion for lowering their rate. The other suggestions was to make them so they only work in sanctum. The biggest complaint is they were being used on snorri. So I'm not sure how you can say you're adjusting them this way based on feedback

Lame response by OTM, once again showing their lack of understanding for what the players are asking for.

If you go back to my old thread about runes I gave two options to fix it and the overwhelming response was restrict what the rune can damage not lower its drop rate which is already abysmally low.

Why not just make them only work on Gele crystals? Like with Otherworld scrolls :?

You do realize youre penalizing players (again) that legitimately only use them on Gele crystals by lowering the drop rates right?
+1 instead of nerfing things you should fine alternatives, I know many servers use the runes for xtals especially those who lack dps druids for poison xtals. Just change it to only work on crystals and only crystals, increase shield fissure rate aswell to decrease complaints on any type of griefing on geles as it's more than a few servers who get griefied with bashes. Leave them the way they are and change its requirements, if you want to play with drop rates play with Gele and prot for godly/void/useful drops and shield fissures.

The community does not consist of 1 person aswell....

I think runes should drop more frequently.
