Pretty sure Nuada is there answer to this. And the initial release of the first aeon chests with insane drop rates as a token to buff that server up fast before rates were nerfed.

Well that's bs. How do you think people on dead servers feel? Or servers they feel as though there's nothing left for them?

Not really bs. These are all legitimate reasons why a carte blanche free for all server transfer wouldn't work. It is a minefield to get a good, workable server transfer policy in place that would protect each individual servers economy and identity. Many MMORPRG's have struggled to get a policy that hasn't caused a customer service headache.
This isn't to say there shouldn't be server transfers, as the ability to transfer is very useful. However OTM need to weigh up whether they can come up with a strategy that would keep the majority happy without over complicating things.
If players could transfer including all gear and gold it would initially cause huge disruption to many servers. The long term would eventually see a homogenisation of the servers and we'd end up with MacCeltic Heroes as all worlds would become the same.

I think I brought that idea before cross platforms.
But my idea was you only can xfer gold as if it was like a mail and it won’t allow u to do it again until 3-6months have passed before you do it again

I beleive server transfer should be allowed ONCE AND ONCE ONLY. for each and very player who is willing to pay the transfer fee in plat.
it's not just a question of economies and dead servers . it's a also a question of active times and meeting with the right people in a your time zone. so that you don't feel like you ve been conned and cornered. with the cheesy Celtic names God of servers that are in no way helpful and tells you if Europe dominant server, a rica server or Asian server.

not to mention poor communication dynamics makes it that it's not translated in other languages ...making it even less popular for people who can't find some homies to explain the ingame mechanics to them.

also it's a question of healthy psychology. there are tons of people who can't stand their cranky fudged up leaders (those rotting ingame for 4-5years in dominant clans) putting pressure on them on old enemities that have nothing to do with new players. such people in the long run become extremely sour and vengeful in this game . And not every new player wnt to know your bs background story with player X that happened 4 years ago and why you started a 3 year clan war because he stole your candycane 3 years ago. really because some servers have more drama than others players need fresh air! or quit game! grass looks greener on the other side yup yup.

also the numerous post that keep coming again again at least once each month! Which is best server , what server I should join , starting on new server, where should I go? show a real need for the right of choice and making the right choice is hard.

but you just have to take a tour of world chats in this forum to see how bad other servers are. there are servers where latest posts are as old as a week or even months. where server leaders think they are so great (maybe too conceited ) they have never ever tried to recruit for their world or talk about their clan in forums ( cough sulis cough)

there are multiple rightful reasons for making transferring legitimate just like some people wish that they could change player class at some point in game and regret having chosen the eternal Tank Slave and wished they were as cool as the rogue in *lock group*. many wish they were on a cooler server hahaha

Maybe have a new server made up of people wanting to Xfer? Could all xfer there? Idk

Pls consider adding this feature. I'd pay 4k plat just for a ticket to transfer
