Server transfers just create a whole slew of problems that OTM doesn't need. Better to leave it alone than open a whole can of worms.
The new xp curve, scholar ability, heroic combo/xp lixes all make it easy to level up a new toon.

They just need to fix the quest armor line and make it easier to get the end game armor without going through the whole quest line all over again.
Plus if they actually fix the end-game raid bosses, then it'd be much easier to get raid gear during the low/mid levels without competing against the top clans.

Server transfers would indeed inject activity to some servers/off some servers. There are people who's stuck at a server with too many of their gear/fashion unable to progress simply because they're in a wrong clan, tired of the drama/griefing, wants a new start, cannot beat dom clan n ends up quitting. Lir and Lugh comes to my mind. A certain price of plat say 3k, would be charged everytime a person xfers. Or make it one time per 6 months.

As mentioned before, the gears/fash/mounts all should be Bound when xfering to a different server so cannot sell/make profit which would be a way for scammers to thrive. Plat items should be removed altogether when xfering making the toon and all its drops/fashion unique. The real problem would be addressing duplication of names, some servers might have a potential shrinkage and some would have massive inflations. All the problems it would bring, I can say it would be one of the most welcoming n financially promising features OTM could put forth.

Argument can be made more money will be made from someone's xfering over n starting over from lvl1 and more consumption of plat, but levelling is much easier nowadays and the direct plat cost of xfering would be paid by alot of people overshadowing the gradual plat cost of starting over.
