Any decent IT server administrator worth his (or her) salt, would've reverted to the working configuration, instead of changing things and patching and modifying God knows what else they're trying.
There are 2 obvious facts:
1) Servers were running fine before the update/changes
2) Servers suck after the update/changes
Re: Resetting not the way to fix server lag
#12Gosh calm your tits unless your clan is a piece of unfathomable normal people wouldnt mind these resets to kill all raids daily.
You don't even know if they're fully staffed they're working over the weekend.
Did you even read the patch notes? They are fixing issues that coumd be the cause, and maybe ARE the cause but combined with short staffed and the fact coding is QUITE complex it does take some time. In coding its super easy for things to go wrong. Add one thing and suddenly everything else stops working and they added a lot of stuff. Gosh

Re: Resetting not the way to fix server lag
#14+1Why is it that the items that they are fixing did not result in any improvement? So what exactly are they fixing? Whatever they are fixing, the main problem of server lag has not been fixed. Looks like a case of barking up the wrong tree to me.
I think external support needed at this point if OTM can not identify the problem or fix it.

#16Obviously he’s talking about the post reset post that they’re trying to fix the issues. You mean this one? http://celtic-heroes.com/forum/viewtopi ... =4&t=93767Did you even read the patch notes?
Sometimes everyone just needs to know when to drop something, Including myself.
Please stop your crusade now pal. We know there are issues. No one needs you to remind us with the same spam.

Re: Resetting not the way to fix server lag
#17My guess is that they are working on findin and implementing a permanent solution. If you are active at all you’ll notice that each time they reset the lag is a ton times better then as the day goes it builds up and gets worst. OTM resetting everyday has allowed the game to be playable until they come up with a permanent solution.
Don’t be so daft.

Re: Resetting not the way to fix server lag
#18Man you guys should lay off otm they work 5 days a week just like the rest of us and have every right to have weekends off, they are looking into the issue and trying to fix it. Don't complain and yammer on about it because that's not gonna get it done any faster it's just gonna delay it because it means they have to read through all your pointless comments about it and lock topics..... just get on with it yes the lag is annoying and yes we want an update but we don't have to continuously bash them about it. If you want the game to run smoothly and if you want updates then chill out and let otm do their job.....

#19This is like fishing, all you need is patience. Everything's gonna be fine. These ranting addicts should go out take a stroll, enjoy the life
