Re: Too slow paced

My main point is the game feels very slow and clunky, when I say flashy moves I don't mean flashing lights everywhere, I mean moves that look interesting and not a static combat style. The combat mounts even add onto this slow and clunky feel with the lack of animations. The staff said a while back that people was making accounts, playing for a few minuets and then that account wouldn't log on again so I'm defo not alone.

Also pvp and pve still require the same combat so comparing both of them is a moo point regarding what I'm talking about in this topic.

As a warrior with mount/pet and a few hotswaps, I can keep skills queued almost constantly (hyperbole, but not by much; I would guess that less than 30% of the time in combat is spent autoing, and it’s not that slow with the right weapon). The biggest limitation I run into limiting combat is energy usage (bunny ftw :P).
That aside, I enjoy combat system much more than many other games I’ve played. It’s not perfect, but it’s consistent and predictable with results that can be replicated (ok, maybe not that last part, but still...). The only thing that I would like to see added is the ability to attack while moving; this would be a big change and might alleviate some of the above complaints, but honestly I don’t think it’s necessary (it would change a lot of strategy too :D).
also, I don’t know that the fact that people make accounts and never log back in can be exclusively attributed to the combat animations...
Edit: not gonna lie: animations are cool, but they’re not a big motivator for me (and do get cluttered on bosses)
