I still don't understand how this would ruin an economy. I mean ruining an entire servers or the games economy. It might cause an item or 2 to be less valuable to some people. I mean if someone wants to buy a party hat for a million or some other ridiculous amount (my opinion obviously) and suddenly there are 3 on the server, the price isn't suddenly going to go down. Seriously, 1 mil for a piece of fashion?

It seems the ones opposing this are the ones that have rare items and are afraid their items are going to go down in value.

I'll make a promise to the ios players if this happens. I'll continue to sell dragons and elms on android for 5 to 10k and combos for 6k but will sell them on ios for 3 for the discs and 8 to 9k for combos so it won't mess up the economy.

If y'all wanna see a crazy economy, come to android. Things are super cheap.
The 1m for a party hat was a example, however there is single fashion items that go for about that on my world. And if more of a item exists, the price will drop, for 2 reasons, #1 rareness decreases, #2 if one person sells something for more then its worth, owners of the item will say hey look that guy sold it for this amount(why lugh masks and reaper rings are overpriced in lugh) and for this situation it can happen reverse in that people notice one goes cheap and refuses to buy any for the normal price. If rares devalue, it will mess stuff up, 1 thing id forsee happening is that people would buy less chests with the thought some others got good mounts/fashion already, and would be less inclined to try, as people open chests in hope for rare items, if the items arent as rare anymore and devalued, theres no reason to open chests anymore. Less chests sold=less lixs, less lixs=less leveling, less leveling=less endgame players. Throwing off a small thing can cause big issues down the road. Also this would make almost nothing rare, giving no point to collect anything. The purpose of events is to be limited edition items, letting more exist is unfair for players in the present and the future(espeically present). Look at the situation from both sides, you may see my point.

Say someone who has 5m gold xfers to a diff world and sks and sc are 3k and 6k each. Now that person could buy them for 4k and 8k each making people sell to that person more, making others forced to buy it at that price.

A Server's virtual economy is not limited to consumables or quest items, really. In fact, rare fashion, mounts and raid gear "virtual value" are more important to players than discs or crests, especially on the more mature iOS servers.

It's like a rare piece of art in real life. The Mona Lisa is worth a lot, over $700 million dollars, although it's really "just an old painting" but what if there's a parallel earth and someone came through with another Mona Lisa? Then that painting will no longer be worth $700m, even if it hasn't been sold to anyone.

How will that make my white hunter not lose value?

Well I have white spooky hunter. I would much rather be able to visit other servers, meet new people to chat with, participate in other servers goings on on occassion than worrying if my hunter would lose a bit of value. I don't plan on selling anyway, so it doesn't matter it's worth to potential buyers anyway.

But let's say you were missing the top from your white hunter and someone on another server had a white top and was willing to sell it. You could go to that server and purchase that white top and have a whole set.

I'm more interested in the social aspect of the game than the virtual monetary aspect of the game. I'd be more interested in being able to visit and get involved with other servers. I think boss loot should bind to a character outside of his or her server so you cannot sell aggy, mord, event, hrung, dl, etc drops. But you could sell plat, lux, and fashion items and you could take those wherever.

Ever since idol nerf u havent done anything either, and Robert is correct, do u want me to show u the same proof I always show? Because I can easily find it.

Anyway thats not the argument, there should definitely be an impact on items during transfer, but only to avoid scammers transferring and not 'ruin economies'.
Transferring worlds doesn't change your name. Your rep goes down the drain instantly after scamming. Are you scared a scammer will scam then hop worlds to transfer all their stuff to a new char? Why not just start a new char on the same world? Why not just sell everything and transfer gold through a middleman? The fate of workd transfers should not be determined by
Because scammers do have things that prove its them in their world, there are many scammers on Belenus or players with multiple identities that have been caught, a scammer's safest way to avoid that is transferring a world. I would say that any non-plat item transferred should bind on the player, although doesnt stop scamming, it'll prevent encouraging scams with the ability to freely transfer worlds.

Nothing will ever be completely fair in the game. I don't think it's fair that we are not able to obtain certain items that ios has because ios has been around longer.
Besides the camo charm, why do you want the old iOS, obsolete, but rare items? Because they are rare or no longer available? What makes them valuable? They're useless in today's gear standards.
I don't understand the don't have server transfers and bring items or gold because someone might also have am item that you have. It just seems a very selfish and greedy reason to deny an opportunity that many want.
Items have a virtual value based on their rarity. Such is the nature of MMO virtual economies. It's not simple selfishness or greed like you guys make it out to be. World economies evolve based on the traditional or normal influx of items, be it from events or from boss drops. Introducing item migrations disrupt the economy, and it's almost always a negative effect.
The old items aren't useless they still possess value may not be as much as it was originally but it is definitely not vendor garbage

Well one man's trash is another man's treasure. I sold a bunch of fairy charms cheaply and apparently some were being resold for quite a bit more than what I sold em for. All I could think about when I saw them was my retired military dad having a heart attack if I had a toon that owned a fairy charm.
We as a clan used to do it cause our chieftain hated the fairie charms when they first came out and it was fun as heck lol
