the only thing here im trying to argue is that the ring is not worth paying 5 million. way to take my argument out of context to make me look like an idiot. i know what ability adds. i know what strength and dex adds. depending on someones build the strength and dex would not be as significant. i see and always knew how the ability would add to damage in skills; however, i refuse to believe that 5 million is a fair price for such a ring that will be outdated in the future.

take a note from me. i equip my toons with the best possible gear i can, but i make sure to equip them cheaply. what i mean is if something doesn't make sense, i save my gold and take an alternative.

i understand and always did that this ring is decent, but not worth the 5 million. In fact, I just went through all my posts and see that I made no claim that there is a better ring out there. I did provide a list of alternatives, but didn't say that they were in fact "better." In some ways they can be, but in terms of overall I didn't say any of my alternatives were better. I see how people were taking my words out of context. The claims I made about strength plateauing has truth to it as well as ability. The higher the ability the less of an effect it has. I know a rogue doesn't have any ability boosting gear save for a few different rings and 1000 adds about half of total cunning. But if anyone played a mage they would know that the higher the ability the less of an effect it has. The same will be true for rogues eventually. Dex doesn't plateau but the 100 attack won't do much if you already have high attack. Same goes for defense.

So I never said there was something better than this ring. I did say there were some alternatives that would be better at some factors of the ring. These alternatives will get you good results at the boss fights. The verdict: save your money and buy something else. For 5 million I can equip the rogue with 200 lux very powerful jewelry. But hey if someone wants to waste their money, go for it.

We've only been killing hrung and I am a poison dmg gear freak even with the tower update and even I would gladly trade a godly venomjade ring(if I had 1 :/) for that necro ring. And no, no event lux 200/event isn't gonna outdo it.

To be a merchant all you have to know is buy low and sell high, along with the rarity of items and how that increases their value. His is the rarest ring in ch right now and you still say it shouldn't go for a high price. You must not be too good of a merchant.

A items not sold in shops has no set value it is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it all good merchers know this

Good merchant? Sry but I dont believe in that crap, its matter of luck, I could have stayed low lvl with mostly normal plate armour at lvl 90, but then at lvl 92-94 I got lucky and bought enough lux for 3-4 of my alts and had 3 golden blades of ice cus I was lazy. I guess Im an amazing merchant selling a twisted hammer (back before it had master and apprentice, and skill bonus and only 21 vit) for 346k and lux worthy of another 430k. Good for me.
Also, an alternative? This is an amazing ring, if I were a rogue Id totally want that as one of my final items.
