I noticed you rated rend a 5 and barbed a 0... Their basically the same exact skill. I cannot think of one successful rogue on my server who has put points into rend, the initial hit good but it's just like an auto. Tbh I think rend should be a 1 at the most.

Rend is an extremely useful skill at levels 190+ at raid fights (especially with a strength build). It has a super fast cast time and reload time.

Barbed shot is dexterity based, has a slow cast time and reload time, and considering the sample ranger I chose was a strength build, barbed shot would be useless.

I realize some rogues may not all prefer rend, so I could rate it down to a 4 if you wish.

Barbed shot has lower damage than rend, long cast time, and killer energy cost.. Even with a high dex build it's not worth using imo

I used barbed when training (50/40) with a dex build until I decided to test how much damage it was really doing. I cast barbed on a mob and watched it tick the mob down to 80% max health in the 25 second duration and dropped it after that...

Im going to be honest.... As a Tripple deviced, idgaf if Rangers got better dps skills cuz like arj said, I just sit there on my HASTED ranger anyways ... Actually casting skills on 3 devs would kill lmao :p

I have it all, yet I've played ranger for 3 years and the class is most important to me. Obviously classes need a huge balance regardless of conflicting opinions. If all this is irrelevant to you then don't comment

So you're angry a skill sucks when you don't put points in the required stat? My pummel does nearly 3k extra damage with full strength compared to 300.

I have played rogue and ranger and druid to mid game, as well as a worrior to endgame.

Ranger is the funest class to 90ish by far although rogue is also fun due to the fast kills. After this ranger game play drops off and you become almost reliant on autos and buffs where rogue just seems to get stronger.

I'm told Rangers get better with dl and end game gear and I hope it's true but for me otm broke Rangers in ow and have never fixed them. Just mho.
