so why do people compare rangers and rogues? They are completely different classes, why don't you make a rogue?

It's quite an interesting read, with input from a variety of players.

Rangers have light heal and they got bolas which durring U2/3 was as OP as it got... I've leveled both to endgame and the only thing i see lacking on my ranger is a good quick dex based STAB... anything more then that is redicolous and unneeded.

Are rangers slower lvlers? Yes but by that logic we should compare rangers and druids since rangers heals aren't op enough compared to druids...

I have a 197 ranger and 198 rogue that I have played/levelled extensively.

Again, the point of my post has flown right past you. I don't feel like coutering someone who hasn't taken the time to read/understand where I'm coming from when I originally posted this.

On a final note, how do you classify this as a rant? I was being completely objective and used simple comparisons to prove my point. Where do you see me getting emotional and rant-like on this thread?
