Ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and Swedish meatballs are all you need for a Christmas meal. End of convo (oh, and apple pie for dessert).
Casserole and meatballs? Wth that's not a Christmas dinner. A Christmas dinner is basically a Sunday roast

Never had Swedish meatballs on Christmas (thought they are fantastic), but couldn’t agree with you more on the rest.
Ooh, you guys should try some Scottish Sausage Rolls... now that’s some bonnie scran, ye ken!
That went from zero to tennant real quick.

Scottish food would give anyone else a heart attack lol, they deep fry batter everything. Even chocolate :o
Not Scottish Sausage Rolls! And it’s even made with a beef sausage, not pork. They’re the best!

They’re a side, not the main meal. Ham is the main meal. We usually make loads of side dishes on Christmas so people can take whatever they feel like eating (plus my family is massive lol. You haven’t seen a large family until you’ve seen mine ). The meatballs were made because my grandpa loves them and I just so happen to love them as well lol (he turns 90 next year and this could very well be his last Christmas).

Of course, didn’t think it was the main meal :) I love Swedish Meatballs as well, so that makes the three of us :P But I hope your grandpa lives long enough to enjoy another Christmas with you and the rest of your family.

Can’t define a Christmas dinner. Christmas is all about remembrance (whether your religious or not), family, and happiness... everyone in my family loves their meatballs and green bean casserole and it puts a smile on their faces so that’s all what matters :)

Don’t mean to change the subject but what we’re remembering is the birth of Jesus Christ ;) Family and happiness is only a fraction of it.
